Exceptional

This is a gorgeous campground. The grounds are kept immaculate and most every site has ample room and beautiful scenery. Or at least where I was located #67. I like how level the site was. And the stones! So much cleaner. I want to add that the grounds manager does a fantastic job of keeping everything operating, looking wonderful and providing friendly oversight of the entire campground. 100% will return.

Last minute getaway

We booked Scenic Rv at the last minute for the Memorial Day weekend. Got a site right by bathhouse and cramped next to another camper….would not have been our first choice. Other sites looked better, but do not think have choice to choose site by looking at website. Does have good cell service not the best Wi-Fi and little trails for walking along with pool…would come again if no other campgrounds around

Went to visit my aunt

I didn't have my motorhomes with me, was looking for a camping place for the next time I came down. She lives in milledgeville an it's only a short ways away. I stopped at the office the lady there was super nice gave me a map of the place and told me to feel free to ride around and look the place over. I will definitely be staying there the next time I'm down there

Enjoyed a quick overnight stay

Overnight stay to cut a trip in half. Clean site, kids play area, pool, volleyball, horseshoe, fishing. Good spot for a quick stay, or extended.

Wonderful private RV park

Traveling across Georgia from NC to visit family in MO, we thought we would stay overnight at a state park. Well GA in all is wisdom has the asinine rule that you must stay two nights even if the park is virtually empty so we were left scrambling to find a nice place to camp. Scenic Mountain is a little gem. A little off the beaten track but easy to find, great roads, super friendly staff, facilities for dogs, and even some short walking trails in the woods. Level sites, fire pits and a nice club house.

Amazing little place

We were on our own little adventure to see ghosts! We were trying to find a place that was close to the old state mental hospital and we came across this little gem of a place. We were greeted in the southern fashion like we were old friends! Site was level and had everything we needed. Yes neighbors were close but everyone was enjoying their families. Hiked the trails around the ponds and caught a few bass. Would recommend staying here if you want a place that is quiet!

In the middle of nowhere near downtown

Very nice, well kept little campground. The sites are good sized but not a lot of privacy. Sorta like a nice parking lot with grass and trees. We stayed in January so the weather was on the chill side. I did not notice a lot of trees though for shade when the temperature does rise. When you enter there are two nice little ponds that are said to house some fish. At the top of the right side hill there is a pavilion, laundry area and private shower rooms. Very clean, very well maintained. Not a lot of light but if you have your fire pit going and your flashlight you’ll be good. There are some nice short trails and a small dog park with agility equipment. Milledgeville is close by and your campground hosts have compiled at list of nearby places to visit AND a list for emergencies, to include a Veterinarian which I thought was pretty awesome. Nice place.

NICE UNSUSPECTING CAMPGROUND

We happened onto this campground while traveling and was a bit apprehensive at first due to the surrounding area did not look appealing but we were tired. This was a great little campground!! Not to mention clean!! They were updating the campground and adding more sites and it appeared all of the sites were full hook-ups. The bathhouse is small but they do have a dog wash station outside the bath house complete with a tub, a ramp and hot and cold water. We did not get to explore much because we got there late but while walking the dogs we noticed a playground, in ground pool, club house and the office has a few necessities--the staff was fabulous!
