Fair Harbor RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing without a license is one of the draws at Fair Harbor RV Park, where a private stocked pond sits on the property and gives campers a low-key reason to unpack the rods. The park also has horses coming and going through its equestrian area, a goat pasture that tends to entertain younger campers, and a playground. At 280 sites, with over 100 pull-throughs, this is a large-scale operation set just off I-75 in Perry, Georgia.

The layout reflects that scale. Sites are gravel, level, and spacious enough for rigs up to 75 feet, but they sit close together, and interstate noise carries across the grounds. Reviewers consistently note both of those realities without treating them as dealbreakers. Most people here are either passing through on a longer drive or staging for nearby events at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agriculture Center, which is less than a mile away and drives occupancy up during event weekends. Cassandra A. notes "there is a pretty fountain in the little lake just for fun," a detail that gives the pond area a bit more character than a standard retention basin.

Full hookups include water, sewer, and electric with 30 and 50 amp options, plus cable TV with a 100-channel lineup. The bathhouses draw consistent praise for cleanliness and water pressure. WiFi is included but capped at 1 GB per day, with additional data available for purchase, so plan accordingly if you need reliable connectivity for work. Cell service is a recurring topic in reviews, with mixed results depending on carrier.

The on-site convenience store stocks camping gear, food, and basic supplies. There is also 24-hour laundry, horse stabling and storage for longer stays, and small cabins available for rent. Check-in is smooth, with staff providing a site map and local information sheet on arrival. Reservations are available and recommended around fairgrounds events. For those exploring campgrounds around Perry, Fair Harbor sits closer to the interstate than most alternatives in the area.

Crossroads Travel Park is a few miles north for campers who want a comparison, but Fair Harbor's combination of large-rig infrastructure, on-site fishing, and full hookups makes it a reliable stop for I-75 travelers with specific needs.

Many campers appreciated the level sites, modern facilities, and excellent customer service at this large RV park. While some noted interstate noise and close spacing, most found it a convenient and well-maintained stopover.

close to Rigby's and the aviation museum

Stayed here mostly to visit Rigby's and the aviation museum.  My girlfriend loved the horses - different ones are coming and going frequently.  My 6 year old had a great time with the other kids and pond and playground.  Great facilities and staff.

Nice for one night stay

It’s a decent park to stay for one night. You can feed some goats and there’s a playground that’s really old and a little dangerous. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Incredible campground

We stay here on occasion when passing through the area.

The staff is very pleasant and the park is clean.

My grand children enjoyed the park and goats.

Easy highway access and quiet

This campground comes with goats! Lol See our full review on YouTube. The sites are nice and level. There’s an equestrian campground. Sadly there is no pool and the only thing to do is watch the goats.

Great Park!

This place is HUGE!! As others have said, the sites are a little close together and there's some traffic noise, but neither bothered me very much - I was real close to the road too, so not that bad at all. I was quite comfortable the two days I stayed here. They have a little convenience store with camping gear you may have forgotten (or didn't know you needed!), souvenirs, food, and other essentials. The bathrooms are nice and there are some on-site fun to be had with a basketball hoop and playground.

Best in Georgia

Top notch camping, easy access from I-75 almost all sites are pull through. Nice store at the office. We experienced a break down and we’re not able to make our reservation, the gave us a credit tone used at another date, and we used it 3 days later.

Our Saving Grace!

We were so happy to get a spot here! We’d had a terrible experience with another campground in the area, & rolled in here at 9:30 PM to wonderful, spacious, gravel pull-thru sites with full hook-ups, & views of the pond. This is a great park & professional people! Well maintained grounds. Clean & safe!!! 280 sites, & over 100 are pull-thrus. Amenities: camp store, playground, pond, WiFi, cable, laundry, bathrooms, shed/storage, etc. Close to shopping & eateries for all your needs.

Fair Harbor is truly a Fair Harbor for RV travelers!

These people do it alll right from clean convenient bathrooms to a lovely park atmosphere even though RV slots are fairly close together. (Clearly a popular place for many regulars! And i see why with its quality & convenience..close to the interstate exit.) Did i mention the bathrooms were sooo nice & clean with all the helpful details like nice tile seat in each shower and more? They were so helpful and kind on the phone as we were first time/last minute guests on a rainy night making sure we knew which exit to take! Oh, yes and there is a pretty fountain in the little lake just for fun! (Bonus: Cracker Barrel right nearby!)

Private even though it's right off the interstate

Absolutely love Fair harbor! The staff is great, they have a little store that sells amenities and lots of basic camping gear. Have 24 hour laundry, multiple showers with amazing water pressure, and multi stall and private bath houses including handicap access. A private [stocked] lake that toured welcome to fish, without needing a license. They have lots of permanent campers here, who pay their lot rent and have their own electric meter. In a standard RV site all amenities are included, water hookup, sewer, electric with 110, 30 and 50 amp hookups, cable and wifi! As well as little cabins for rent. Also horse stables and storage if you stay longer!

Clean & Convenient pit stop off of I75

This campground isn’t super remarkable (lots of RV’s in close proximity, noise from the interstate). But it’s bathrooms/showers are brand new and kept very clean. Great pit stop for a few days before we head into the mountains. You’ll find permanent residents here as well as stopping-through campers. Fairgrounds are close so it probably fills up when events come through.

WiFi here is so-so and you often get booted off. On there website they say WiFi is free with stay. But once we got there we learned we were capped at 1 GB per day. You can buy more for $15.

Pull through sights are convenient and easy. Horse stables and a goat pasture are also on property. The town of Perry and Warner Robins have all amenities you could need. Really great coffee shop in downtown Perry called Bodega Brew. Fast WiFi and awesome hazelnut latte.

Quiet, easy and friendly!

We stopped her for an over night on our way north. This has to be the easiest check in and set up ever! We made a reservation and they were ready with our map and site. It will listed (not advertisements) all the attractions, as well as restaurants, groceries, post office, medical and vet. Everything you might need. The site was both long enough for our rig AND level..a rarity in our experience. While we didn’t use the park wifi, the cable 100 channel TV is more than just your basic 30 channel line up. The laundry room looked clean (didn’t use the showers). While there seem to be many long term campers, there are plenty of spaces for the travelers. We will definitely be using this campground again for our trips up and down I75. Well done!
