We are the closest accommodations to the Okefenokee Swamp Main Entrance. We are a privately owned and run campground. We offer 5 cabins, 2-Basic (sleeps 3, no bathroom) , 2-Deluxe (sleeps 4, with a bathroom) and a Premier Cabin (sleeps 3, No Pets Allowed), 18 pull through RV sites that can accommodate the largest RV's 15 with 100amp services (50,30,20amp boxes), a Group site that can accommodate up to 45 people, 4 primitive removed tent sites (drive up & walk in 30-50') all private with natural vegetation, 1 drive up tent site. Free wi-fi throughout the campground, meeting entertainment room, modern laundromat, cleanest bathhouse in the area, day use dog kennel, dog exercise area, picnic area, camp store with just about anything you may have forgot or need, child's play area, horseshoes, badminton, cornhole. We also have a stargazing area and do weekly outreach stargazing on Saturdays (we are located in one of the darkest areas in the Southeast and 1 of the 10 best areas in the US. We have been named super-host for 2 years in a row on AirBnB, received Booking .com certificate of excellence 3 years in a row, one of the 20 best secluded FL camping spots for stargazing (honorable mention as we are in GA), and 1 of the best 9 Winter camping Spots in GA by Step Outside. The Okefenokee has been named 1 of the best photogenic swamps in the US and is the largest blackwater swamp in the US as well as one of very few elevated swamps.

Jenny Ridge is a year-round RV park located in south-east Georgia.

We are located 40 miles north of Jacksonville, FL,

50 miles to the Golden Isles of Jekyll Island, St. Simon's Island & Sea Island,

and 35 miles south of Waycross, GA.

Groceries, fuel, gift shops and local eateries are all within a 1 mile drive.

Jenny Ridge hosts a total of 55 paved sites, with city water and sewer.

All of our buildings are handicap accessible.

We can accommodate up to 100ft RV's, with 44 pull-thru and 11 back-in spaces

& 20/30/50 amp service with full hookups.

Laundry facility onsite.

Our campground was founded in 1980 on a family owned estate established in the mid 1800's in the historical community of Kings Sandhill.  We are just a short drive off of I-95 in Coastal Ga,near Brunswick,Ga; only minutes away from the beaches of The Golden lsles of Ga, Okefenokee Swamp Park and Northeast Fl. As you meander down our well maintained dirt road you will soon be captivated by our wide open environment of unparalleled natural beauty.  Our nontraditional camp sites will never leave you with concerns about your slide outs or awning invading the space of neighboring campers. Many of our guest enjoy spending their days listening to the sounds of birds chirping. While others are content just watching the river roll by without hearing the nose of automobile or emergency vehicles.

This is a Wildlife Management area - and this campground is a hunt camp.  Free, no reservations, primitive.  Be prepared to pack in and pack out your trash. 

Do not need a reservation and it's a free campsite, but you must have either a hunting license of some type (fishing is okay too) or a land pass available at the gate. 

Please check for active hunting season before attempting to camp. Open almost all year round, but there are a few times it is not.
