Free and paved, at just over 61 miles long, the Silver Comet trail is built on abandoned rail lines. The path winds through residential areas and forests alike, where you’ll find everything from tunnels to trestles, bike rental shops to wheelchair access points. The Little River Adventure Company features adventure rentals and 40 acres of dispersed tent camping in a natural unimproved property surrounded by Straight Creek and Yellow Creek. Conveniently located near the entrance to the Little River Canyon National Preserve. One mile from Little River Falls, and one mile to the WMA roads trailhead. Close to DeSoto Falls, Yellow Creek Falls, Cherokee Rock Village, Hippie Hole, and many other local attractions. We welcome dogs, cyclists, riders, kayakers, climbers, musicians, and all nature lovers.

Mountain in DeKalb County of Northeast Alabama, and near the
historic city of Fort Payne. We are now open and have 42 sites for camping. All sites have Fire Rings. Picnic Tables are at all sites except tent sites without power. We offer 26 sites that are full hook-up, 7 of which are pull thru sites. We also have 8 tent sites with power and water and 8 tent sites with no power and water. Limited sites offer Cable and WiFi. We also have backwoods camping with a short hike. We have a Showerhouse, Laundry Room, Fishing Pond, Playground, Horseshoes and on site Hiking Trails. We are a pet friendly campground with pets on a leash. We are just 2 miles from Little River Canyon National Preserve and 8 miles from Desoto State Park.

1176 RV and Campground offers 14 full-hookup RV sites with stone fire-rings, picnic tables and BBQ grills for your enjoyment. We also have 10 tent sites with power and water offering the same amenities. There is a babbling brook and pond in the rear of the park and clean, modern bathrooms centrally located. Having visited many parks over the years, we can say this park has a special relaxing feel to it that we think you'll enjoy. Campground is located just minutes from the Desoto Falls and Desoto State Park. Little River Canyon, Lookout Mountain TN, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, Tennessee Aquarium and more.

Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center

A 73-acre park, located off Blacks Bluff Road, and listed on the National Registry of Historical Landmarks, Lock and Dam offers some of the best crappie and striper fishing in North Georgia. 

 The park is prepared for both RV and primitive tent camping. Select sites feature direct sewer hook-up, river views, picnic pavilions and shelter, fire rings, restroom, shower and laundry facilities, fishing and nature trails. Other amenities include horseshoe pits, open play areas and an observation overlook.

 The Coosa River Trading Post offers fishing and camping supplies, an exhibition center, live bait, tackle, fishing and hunting licenses and a boat ramp.
