Redtop campground

Beautiful and quiet camping on the water! Campgrounds are clean and well kept with friendly keepers. We loved our camping trip and thoroughly enjoyed the trails and walking trails that cut through the campground Iron Hill.

Confusing check in

Beautiful sites but we gotta there at 5.... Told open till 10. Visitor check in closed and no directions on how you get in. Campground ended up being a few miles from check in. We weren't given coffee to get in gate.... Signs once in were one way but you couldn't tell where they wanted you to go.…

Wow! Camped at west rim site 17, and it was huge, with tons of room. Fire ring is a distance away from the rv, so that is awesome. Shady, and close to the west rim trail! Just heaven!

Great park

We stayed at site 7 in the West Rim Campground and it was beautiful! A little tricky to back into, but we got it. A little bit of a trek to the bath house but manageable. Our site was spacious and secluded which is what we like. The bath house could use a little update but I have seen worse. We…

Peaceful and relaxing

They staff was very friendly and check in was fast. Campsites were also spread out. It was packed but still enough space between campsites to not feel overcrowded. The bathrooms were close by as well. I would highly recommend this campsite!!

Can't wait to go back!

This is a nice primitive camp site just a 2 min walk from Petty John Cave and a 5 min drive to Rock Town Trailhead. Come here to try your hand at rock climbing and spelunking. The permit was 15 dollars to access Rock Town and the Caves... I'd like to come and try my hand at spelunking some time…

Absolutely beautiful

This campground is so beautiful! We were able to take trails, see waterfalls and go to the west rim. We stayed at the west rim side of the campground. We would absolutely go back!!

The site was really spacious. There is a nice railing around the site. The campground is really hard to navigate around. The campground is not marked well and we went past the entrance…by a decent amount. Campground said it had a laundry room, but it did not. Bathrooms were pretty old. No real…

For being on a road trip and needing a quick place to stay, this campground fits the bill. Reservation is easy and it’s easy to get to. The camp site is loose gravel which makes it difficult to stake a tent in if necessary. For my personal preference it’s a little crowded and there were a lot of…

Loved it

We arrived just before sunset & we were in a rush to set up before it started to pour. We had no trouble finding our reserved site & while we were getting settled, the hosts (Cocoa & Ryan) popped over to welcome us & also brought back firewood a few mins later. The sky opened up…

Beautiful hikes

Beautiful hikes. My son made me hike the stairs down to the falls at least twice a day. Our campsite had no shade and was brutally hot during the day. The picnic table was on an incline, which ,add it uncomfortable to eat. Very close to the bathrooms, though, which was nice.

Quite and peaceful

Cloudland Canyon is great place to just relax or hike one of the many trails. Georgia’s version of the Grand Canyon.
