I picked this park as a stopover on our way to Georgia based on online pictures. We really loved it. The lake is beautiful and the surroundings make you feel like you’re much deeper in the woods than you are. The sites are a good size but some are quite angled and have a drop off from the pad. The…

We stopped here on the way to the coast. It was a very nice campground with a small lake, lots of playground equipment, and hiking trails. Pads were level and shower houses were clean. We really enjoyed our stay on sites #17 & #38 going and returning.

The lake is beautiful. Some of the campsites looked like long term sites with a lot of junk around them. This would be a great place to pull an inter tube with a boat. Looked a little sad. It was quiet though.
We arrived a little later in the evening however.. gayle was awesome! She met us right out front of the main gate and explained the amenities that were available to us and how to easily access our campsite. Other then some non enjoyable chatty Kathys talking by our vehicles and aimlessly walking…
Very peaceful place on the Tombigbee River. We enjoyed our stay so much. The campground is so clean. The bathhouses are very nice and well maintained. Perfect spot to put a boat in. The volunteers are helpful. Easy to get in and out of the campground. The spot we stayed on was a pull through on…
Our first camping trip. This was the perfect spot. Small campground with big spots. Lots of pull through spots right on the river. So quiet. Nice bathhouses. Will definitely be back. Very nice volunteers.
Haven’t been to Clarkco in years, but we used to have our family reunion here every year in October. The cabins were large and pretty nice. Always had lots and lots of fun here.
Been camping there most of my life. Peaceful and staff is great
This COE park is located right on the banks of the Tombigbee waterway where you can sit and watch the barges take their goods up or down the river. The Park Ranger and camp host were very friendly and welcoming. We chose site 13 which was right on the river. Most of the sites were available mid…

nIce park next to tombigbee river, has 2 play areas,a boat launch (free to launch for campers), pull through pads with awesome view of river. only thing is that is does not have sewer hook up but has dumping station
Pretty campground with 2 great tent sites right on the river. Amazing sunsets. It was pretty cold so the mosquitoes were quiet but I imagine they get bad in warmer weather due to the adjacent swamp. I'm pretty sure we heard gators in the swamp at night. Awesome. Only complaint was a lack of…
