Couldn’t have been better

Spent a few days here last week and I couldn’t have been happier. The campground is wonderful. Spaces are big and well kept. Layout is perfect and the pier is really nice. We rented a couple of kayaks and took them out in the bay. Rental was a bit pricey but not unexpected and the kayaks were in good shape. Water, sewer and electric (50A) hookups were fairly new and it appears that the entire park was redone within the last year or so. Gravel spots but very level. Nice “beach” area up on a bulkhead with clean sand. Pier has a lower level with a ladder for launching kayaks or swimming/wading. We will definitely be back.

This place is amazing!

This place is a gem. Everything here is clean and new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice get away. I can't say enough positive things about this place.

Help is coming I hope

Pros: Great location Good fishing Smaller camp site Friendly happy nice campers Great fishing dock Sites are close to level

Negatives: Very expensive nightly rates Restrooms no soap for the four days we were there Restrooms in rough shape Crapped camping sites Bugs with (black flys) that bite are out of hand they draw blood

We did enjoy our stay and will return in a year. New owners are taking over by November 2024, hopefully they make the improvements that they say they’ll do.

Amazing Sunsets!

Small and quiet campground on the bay. Gravel site with patio pavers. Bathhouse (didn’t use) and free laundry area (used). Fishing available off of the campground dock. Beautiful sunsets and wildlife everywhere. Far enough away to truly be camping, but close enough to other activities if you want on Fort Morgan Rd. Went to the public beach (3 miles); Kayaked at Little Lagoon (5 miles); Spa day at The Beach Club Resort & Spa (2 miles); and Visited Fort Morgan (8 miles).

No Tent Camping

The app shows they allow tent camping, but when I called they are rv only.

Peaceful and quiet!

We stayed here the week of July 4th. The it was nice and quiet. The bath house was clean and laundry was free. There is a fenced in dog play area. We had sight 2 which put us on the water. We got to watch 7 or 8 different fireworks shows from there. There is nothing for children to do. We had to rely on the cable TV, board games, and tablets to entertain the children. It was nice to watch the sun rise with my coffee in the morning. I would stay here again!

Surprised

We stayed here with Friends . It was was our first trip with our camper. When we got there , We had second thoughts on staying here .. It’s not very appealing, but I’m glad we stayed . It wasn’t that bad at all . We was close to where we wanted to be . They did have a doggy fenced in area. Bath houses was nice. And free washing laundry room !! Camp sites are gravel , it looked like someone just threw it up over night. Most of the campers was fishermen.. but we had a good time here.
