Piece of nature heaven!

Level gavel site! Lots of trees So cool to see lighting bugs at night! Lot of sites on the water not ours though. Trails and nature for walking dogs. Nice playground. Laundry and bathroom needs updated, but clean.Fire~ring, picnic table, and water & electric at each sight. Not a good signal with T-Mobile. Thought we were lost because the dirt road to get to the campground was very narrow and rough. Once arrived near the campground it was fine!

Older but peaceful

Access: very rough road on the short section of dirt. Older area First impressions: old and very minimally kept up Sites: well spaced, clean, big, I would suggest clearing some of the brush and smaller trees for a better water view Bathroom/shower: need updating but extremely clean and well stocked Host: extremely friendly and talkative, very helpful Positives: peaceful, wildlife, great fishing, decent boat ramp, away from big cities Negatives:updating needed, better road going in,clean up the area around the piers maybe replace piers, clean up brush around the sites, clean up the front host site where a camper burned, clean up the old picnic tables around the area that ain’t being used.

A fun find! Large sites and a few with a private (in the off season) dock. Good bird watching, turtles and gators. Quiet when I was there. Host on site. Nice private showers.

Gorgeous

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Beautiful lake and Spanish moss, spacious sites, plenty of privacy, and very quiet! The pictures speak for themselves. We’ve camped here in both fall and summer and always have a great experience.

Peaceful stopover - looked like mostly fishermen camping around me.

I thought I was lost I had traveled so far off the beaten path. Suddenly I see a sign! Whew! Surrounded by water this campground was not very full in November. On a tiny island there appeared to be thousands of birds roosting in the evening. In the morning it was interesting to watch them taking flight.
