Cullman Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Two miles off I-65 at exit 310, Cullman Campground sits close enough to town for easy resupply runs while maintaining a country setting with a pond, ducks, horses, and a notably assertive goose on the property. Sites are gravel and level, with full hookups available including 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. The campground accepts rigs up to 80 feet and provides site escorts to help with parking, which reviewers consistently mention as a practical convenience. Reservations are available, pets are welcome, and the facility runs year-round.

Cleanliness comes up repeatedly across reviews, particularly regarding the shower rooms and bathrooms. Four shower rooms are open during business hours, alongside a laundry facility with four washers and four dryers at $2 per load. Each site includes a picnic table and a small grassy area. Newer sections of the campground have been added recently, though those spots currently lack shade, which matters in Alabama summers.

WiFi is satellite-based, free for non-streaming use and $1 for up to 5 Mbps with streaming, though weather can interrupt service. Cell signal is described as adequate but not strong. K A. notes it's a "great place to stay for the night or longer," which reflects the mix of overnighters and longer-term residents the campground draws. Nearby, Unhitched Cullman provides another option in the same area. Cullman Campground makes the most sense for RV travelers wanting full hookups, reliable facilities, and a low-fuss overnight or short-term base near camping near Cullman.

Second visit

Love this campground, office staff is super sweet and helpful. Site escort, clean level gravel site. Beautiful campground, check out the animals. Great signage to park. Not the greatest cell phone signal but not awful. Free wifi for non streaming service and paid option for streaming. Would highly recommend

Good stop

Very nice quiet campground. 4 shower rooms open during business hours. 4 washers and 4 dryers. $2 per load. They have recently added a lot of new slots. Once the grass grows in, they will be very nice. Only concern is there is no shade on these new spots, so they will be warm in the summer. Free non streaming internet. If you want to stream, it's $1 for "up to" 5 Mbps. It is satellite provided,so weather can cause interruptions. Lots of full timers with some much older rigs, as well as over nighters. All in all it is a good place to stay and rest.

Off the beaten path but conveniently located close to town.
The showers are really clean. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving, so it was decorated really cute.
