I originally was going to stay at Chickasaw State Park but that was a no go so I Googled the next closest Campground which brought me here. The park host, Leigh, was very helpful and polite. The bathrooms were the best I've seen in a long time. The spot she put me in was amazing. It was so…
Quiet park with fairly level spaces most of which are on the water. Electric and water only with a dump station in the center of the park. One thing to be aware of is that the 4" sewer plug is NOT a sewer connection
We love Deerlick! Nice cleans sites, happy hosts, and clean bathhouse! We can’t wait to get back. The recreation options were endless.
We tent camped in the RV park with 4 dogs. Our campsite (10) was perfect- right on the water, plenty of space, nice even pad for our tent & canopy. The neighbors were kind & the bathrooms well maintained. Definitely will stay again. Nice trails too!

Cell/Wifi non existent. Office staff and rangers friendly and helpful.
We were blown away by how peaceful Burchfield was. Lot 17 felt like we were all alone. There was adequate place between us and the neighbors, a peaceful creek separating us. The bath house was super clean. The camp host were active and extremely friendly.

We loved the history and beauty of THSP. Everyone was so friendly, but we felt like we were on top of the people beside us.
Lake Lowndes is simply a place that every camper (primitive or RV) has to visit. The staff from the ranger to the park host to the manager and everyone else is friendly and ready to help in any way. The sites are paved, large and very easy to back into. We have stayed at #43, #41, #1, #31 and…

Nice park on a lake. Sites could use some work but over all very nice campground. Frisbee golf coarse is a huge plus!!
Great campground on the river. Sites have slot of room and are level. River sites are hard to get. Very clean.
Good week end get away campground. improvements have been made. Easy access to city
Probably one of the best kept secrets. Very clean and peaceful. Great get away location.
Payne Lake East is primitive camping that costs $6 dollars a night. From here you can access the amenities on the west shore. We are here in mid February and all but one of the full hook up sites on the west side are occupied. However, on the east side there is only one other camper. The lake is…

This campground has zero cell service, so if you can’t do without that read no further. We had a lovely stay here other than that. We enjoyed being waterfront at site #5, but there are 8 total lots on the water and then more sites that are in the wooded area. Lots 4, 5, and 6 seem to be the better…
If you plan on having service - I don’t think any phone service is available there. Nice and secluded. It was the first park I’ve been to that the playgrounds are still closed and that was one of the main reasons we went. Very quiet. Sites 1-8 are right on river. Would be 5 stars except we really…
