This is a small quite camp ground with horse stables. Husband and wife working there were very nice. Campground consist of a fire ring in the middle with benches and tables surrounded by back-in camp sites. There was a nice clean bathhouse with showers. Free firewood. No pool or playground, but…
We state at the tent campsites for 4 days. Very clean and well kept. I will say the outhouses were a bit rough, but most are—a lot of hiking and sightseeing. I could not be there during prime trout season, so I didn't get any fishing in. I would recommend this state park.

Enjoyed my stay at the Helton Creek campground. Very peaceful and friendly
This is an amazing park.
It was clean, we had beautiful views, people were great.
This is a peaceful place! We can’t wait to go back.
This equestrian campground in a beautiful state forest allows for other campers to make reservations no more than 30 days in advance; priority is for campers with horses. This state park has wild horses of its own, but has numerous multi-use and equestrian trails and connects with additional trails…

This is a group equestrian camp that can be reserved via Recreation.gov for$50/night for up to 25 people. There is no potable water available, so plan to bring your own. There is a stream at the site where the horses may drink. There's enough space for a number of trailers, including large ones,…

We liked everything! The campground had large sites, nice showers, and a laundry area! The amenities and restaurant were also great!
Enjoyed the weekend. Very nice campground. Great pull through spots with great views.
No consistent cell service and no wifi if you need to work. Good excuse to shut down and enjoy the creation.
Very nice park. Easy pull through lots for RVs that have great views.
Only downside is phone signal. . . Not that your should need it, but sometimes we camp during the work week. Not an option here. Just enjoy the quiet.
This is a good stopover campground while travelling. I wasn't pleased with the quality of our sites, we stayed once going north and once coming home. First site was a pull through, level but very close to neighbors with marginal area outside. The site on the return trip was also a pull through…
Camp Creek State Park was easy to find as our RV GPS and Waze brought us right to the Campground(CG). Check-in was quick at the little office right inside this small CG. We then proceed to back-in site 21 with FHUs, which was an easy back in. The site was nice and wide with plenty of space on each…

Lots of clear field balds to walk through. The main trail is easy but the bouldering further up is challenging and exhilarating! Great for any hiking experience level. And wild ponies are everywhere! Be wary of the wind in the winter! My camera case almost blew away. Secure your items while you're…

So... I was planning on camping here in Grayson Highlands and even had a reservation, but when we arrived there was an emergency within the park and we could no longer stay there, but we got fully reimbursed! The rangers were so nice!!! ALthough that was a shame we took a ride around the park and…
This campground is small and no bathrooms, but it is directly on the Creeper so that makes up for it! Great location also because it is close to restaurants and the center of the small town. It does have water and power and a picnic table. Being right on a little river is great too. Gave it 4 stars…
