Reservations are available at Endless Caverns RV Resort & Cottages, and given the steep, gravel mountain roads that run through parts of the property, advance site selection matters more here than at most campgrounds. Rates run $45 to $249 per night, with an additional $10 daily resort fee added at booking. A staff member escorts arriving guests to their sites, which helps with navigation after dark or on the tighter upper loops. One section of the campground explicitly recommends four-wheel drive, so campers in lower-clearance rigs should read the site map carefully before confirming a reservation.
The campground sits on a wooded mountainside above the Shenandoah Valley, built into a deep hardwood forest. Sara M. notes that "care has been given to support the original trees and native plants," and the stone-bordered sites, stone walls, and fire rings reinforce that the layout has been developed around the existing landscape rather than cleared for it. Section C tends to draw favorable reviews for site spacing and wooded privacy, while Section E is described as tighter with less tree cover. A handful of sites are notably secluded, and Clark P. points out that "a few sites are nicely secluded for those of us that crave privacy."
Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer are available at RV sites, with a 50-foot maximum length. Amenities on the grounds include a pool, playground, pickleball and volleyball courts, disc golf, horseshoes, a rec center with an arcade, and a camp store stocking ice, firewood, and basic RV supplies. The bathhouse is fully tiled and receives consistent praise for cleanliness. WiFi routers are located at the bathhouses, with variable signal at individual sites. Cell coverage runs two to three bars on Verizon, enough for streaming with some patience.
The Endless Caverns themselves adjoin the welcome center, with tours running multiple times daily at a discount for resort guests. A 15-minute hike up to the property's large roadside sign rewards the effort with open sightlines toward the valley floor and a field of wildflowers. New Market, a short drive away, has Civil War museums, a battlefield site, soft serve, and a diner. Luray Caverns is roughly 35 minutes out and draws larger crowds than the on-site option. Campers planning to explore campgrounds near New Market will find a range of options across the region, including the more primitive Emerald Pond Primitive Campground a couple miles northeast for those wanting a different kind of stay.
