Great experience. Beautiful clean campground. Everything well kept and manicured. Bath houses convenient and very clean.
We spent a weekend here at the beginning of may. The weather was perfect. There are a good number of trees for shade. Our campsite was right on the water which was good for views but there wasn’t a lot of grass for our tent. The sites have fire rings but no grates to cook on. It was pretty crowded…
We love Bruton Branch. Specifically sites 28&29 they are the last of the site but it allows you to have your own little slice of fishing heaven as you are separated from the majority of other people. Right on the water and a breathtaking view to wake up to.

One of the nicest parks in West Tennessee but not for RV's over 26 feet. Great hiking.
Beautiful view on the TN River and the Pickwick Dam. The only negative is the noise and smell of the paper mill on the opposite side of the river. It is also close to the Shiloh National Military Park which is the reason we are here.
My stay won't likely be like yours. First, I drove in while Mississippi was under a blanket of snow. All the roads in Holly Springs and the rest of the state were treacherous with packed snow and ice following a week of unseasonably frigid weather across the southern midwest.
That said, the 2…

We used this campground as an overnight on our way to Arkansas, was going to stay on the way back but cancelled due to our experience the first night. Roads inside the campground were atrocious, required dodging tree limbs and holes. The entire campground seemed run down, camp host site looked…
We brought our small Aliner camper here to primitive camp for the first time and we couldn’t have picked a better place! The campsites have been redone in the last couple of years. Fresh gravel and wooden railing. The bathhouse is clean and easy access from all campsites.
There is a small…

Remotely located but still close to major roads. We came in with a 38’ RV not much problem with spaces but be aware of trees on both sides of spaces. We were given space #60 but would not have been able to open slides because of trees so we took another space. Most of them are not leveled. Water…
Good place to stop on the way to somewhere else. If you’re allergic to poison ivy, watch out. The stuff is everywhere!
Park is very pretty but needs some TLC to its facilities. Spoke with Norma when headed to campground and she said a tree had fallen on road to our campsite. Had call in to rangers to clear it. She called us back that afternoon and it was cleared. Our breaker box kept tripping so may have been…
Was clean-ish, but extremely out of date with a lot of broken and closed amenities. Showed up during open hours, tried to claim our reservation....and there was no one there at all. No staff. No humans. Not being able to register wasn't a problem because we had our pick of sites. Site was in decent…
Quick and easy getaway! Multiple spots to set up camp with concrete tables at each.
Mississippi needs to put some funding behind the park, could be a real gem. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend the campground.

This is a pretty basic campsite, but I enjoyed it.
- I'm a tent camper and had to move sites since the one I originally picked didn't have an area for my tent. Make sure you get there by 3ish to check that your site can accommodate a tent and stakes
- Site had a grill, table and firepit
