This Campsite is absolutely beautiful, we stayed during labor day weekend so it was really crowded and we like that because it makes us feel safer. Well we came home and everyone was gone except for 5 campers. We decided to go out to dinner and when we came back we immediately noticed that our tent…
We wanted primitive camping away from everyone. They had space from the neighbors.
Bath house was dirty from lack of use, water pressure was fantastic!
Lots of Mosquitoes and yellow flies.
We camped there 3 nights during the week. It was quiet and peaceful. We have a pull behind camper and the lots are very easy to pull into. Nice place to escape back to from the crowd.
I like the primitive camping area. The bathroom and water source is nearby, as well as a pavilion/shelter. There are three sections, with multiple areas for camping in each one. Each has 2-3 tables and a fire ring.
I hammock camp, and there are plenty of trees useful for this purpose. This is…
Small State Park, but the sites are nice. Clean facilities and flat wide spots. Not much activities here other than fishing or kayaking but the river is beautiful.
had a great time with family and friends ALL the staff was very nice and friendly. the showers and bathrooms were very clean. i stayed in two of the walk in sites and love them very quiet plenty of fire wood. wish they had power but that wont stop me from getting them again
This is one of the two campgrounds at Santee State Park, and it is as different from the other as night and day. Unlike the dirt roads at Lakeshore Campground(the other campground in the park) the roads in Cypress View are paved. The sites are gravel, and many of them are pull-through sites.…

The park is located down a long, wooded road on the edge of a beautiful lake. Campsites are adequately spaced apart giving a fair amount of privacy. The bathrooms seem to be clean and tidy, although we didn’t actually use them except to drop off some trash. Very quiet and peaceful with the…
The main campground is flat making it easy to back up campers or RV’s in slots. Some pull through spots. We were tent camping and choose a walk in slot. 27, 28 & 29. Our site was 29 it is about 100 yards from the main campground down a single lane sandy road that leads into a wooded area. We…

First time camping here... it's a basic camp ground. Great walking areas.
I hardly ever give five stars to a campground. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 9 because of the background road noise from the highway, but my wife and I had such a great experience. It was everything we wanted… and needed.
Lakeshore Campground is one of TWO campgrounds at Santee…

Really clean camp sites, they offer primitive camping without any amenities theses camp sites are more secluded and peaceful in my opinion its also near a large fishing pond and creek all the primitive sites do all have a small fire pit, and there are two outhouses( bring your own toilet paper).…
We stayed in the Lakeshore side, and after viewing the Cypress View campground, we made the right choice.
Cypress view is nice, and closer to the camp store, but is geared more toward RV campers, and we are tent campers.
The drive in is mostly paved. The road in is bumpy in spots, but easy to…

Camper Van Excellent Verizon coverage. Water and Electric. Site #100 (best lake front site in Eastern Loop). Direct access to Small beach for swimming from this campsite. Direct access to lake front trail. Bath house clean but grade C.

We stayed in the southern campground, right across from the water. We needed a campsite that was inexpensive with good data connection for working. The site was clean. The cleanliness of the women’s bathroom by site 95 was split: the toilet side and sinks were VERY clean but the showers looked like…
