Very quiet and peaceful

We came for a weeklong working trip. I brought my laptop to work from home and this place was perfect. The view was beautiful and the weather was great at night to just sit outside and enjoy the view. It was a very quiet camp with a great dog park. I look forward to visiting again soon.

It’s ok

I know most people love this park but I’m not a beach sand mosquito loving person. Site was kinda small and not level.

Great Campsite

Beautiful site, nice amenities, a quick walk over the dunes and you’re on the beach.

Big Campground! Lovely beach

Booked an electric/water hookup site for me and my friend, who has a camper- the site was smallish and close to other sites but still felt secluded. The beach was lovely- bit of a walk to the beach but worth it. Lots of trails if a break from the beach is needed. Bathhouse near to us was okay-…

First trip of the season

We enjoyed our stay in site 66. Good shade and fir our stay great breeze. Bathrooms are plentiful with lots of hot water.

Our site could have used some gravel but overall a great place to spend a few days.

Right on the beach!

Stayed here for a few nights. The sites vary widely in size and access so make sure you know where you are staying. We had great dune side site right next to a boardwalk to get out to the beach. Be careful of the tent sites, while many were under the cool and unique trees, others were partially…

Great Location - OBX!

Had some great luck securing a site last minute to test out our RTT during peak season July. As a typical forest camper, this campground was a bit of a change due to how open and exposed you are to the other sites. But, that's the beach for ya - no vegetation or other foliage to separate you from…

Our Northern Estate, on the road

Nice campground, our 17’ tt on lot #283 a short site we fit fine, full hook up our sight was crowned and stone. Oceana air base is near, fighters flying by and over all the time, so loud so cool, wow! Free parking lot, down on Pacific and 9th at beach area, curtesy of campground. Huge camp store…

Great RV Park near the beach

This is a large modern RV park with all the usual amenities and then some! Full hookups, lots of pull-thru sites, cable tv, multiple pools, multiple camp stores, playgrounds, mini golf, and more. All without leaving the property. Staff even collects trash daily. Sites are a little close, but…

They have hot water! Sort of.

Just like the other campgrounds in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Oregon Inlet is such great campground. The bathrooms and campground are clean. And so are the showers! Recreation.gov states that this campground has “heated showers.” I checked the water temperature in the shower by B28 and…

Great Location!

You’re sleeping on sand so comfort score is already 5 stars! Not to mention you’re right next to the First Landing State Park beach! The campground and beach is on the corner of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean right above Virginia Beach.

Close but Apart

Nice area on the beach. Only issue is that you can hear the traffic passing on the main road... Has ability to select your spot, which is nice because you can see how crowded and opt for a far off location. Tent sites are large & comfy.

Can’t Wait To Go Back

Went in October 2020. We stayed in a small but nice and cozy site #170 (had water and 30A electric). This place is perfect to unwind and not be too far from civilization. We took the kiddos to the beach and just sat back and relaxed. We were able to maintain a safe distance since the camper access…
