Beautiful place on the river

Gorgeous sites, lots of kids activities, pool, and close to Mingo Falls. Our site said it would fit a 32 ft camper and it really doesn’t; we had a super hard time getting in and thought we might have to leave. So just beware that your site might not be as big as stated. No laundry. No groceries. Staff/manager is rude.

We drove from California to the RV park. Stopping along the way in many areas. This was exciting to see this campground and read the reviews. Unfortunately it’s all fake. The staff is rude. The services are limited. No groceries at the store in the campground. No laundry services available. Can’t…

Sardines

Absolutely rocks with activities, BUT it gets packed and crowded. Had a good experience, just felt very commercial and not natural. To each his own.

Directions

Coming from Maggie Valley: Follow 19 through town continue over the mountain into Cherokee. You will pass the Harrah’s Casino. Continue straight into downtown Cherokee. Stay in the right-hand lane until you get to Acquoni Rd. Right-hand lane will automatically turn right at the light before crossing the bridge. Follow Acquoni Rd about 2 miles until you come to the Best Western Motel. Turn right on Big Cove Road and follow that for 7 ½ miles until you see the signs for Yogi in the Smokies Campground. Turn right over bridge—turn right after bridge and follow signs.
