Tucked away and peaceful

This campground is small but quiet and right on the water. They sell firewood right up the road or you can just visit the Amish for wood scraps. Favorite thing is the family of owls that inhabit the trees that you see every night.

Tupper Lake Triad

It was a great time at this campground. The lake at the campground was fantastic and gave our pups a chance to swim. the facilities were clean and the campground was quiet at night. Overall a great time. We used it as our base camp to complete the Tupper Lake Triad.

Grass sites with plenty of trees for shade

Small campground with 30+ sites. Grass sites with plenty of trees for shade.

There's little undergrowth between sites for privacy but spacious sites makes up for it. We found a site on the edge for good privacy.

Sites are well maintained. Bath facilities need maintenance.

There…

Spacious tree covered sites on a beautiful lake

We loved our stay at Limekiln Lake! We had site 270, which was close enough to walk down to the boat launch at night to look at the stars (and the Milky Way!) but a little too far to walk to the beach. Our site was spacious, with room for two cars, 4 kayaks, and two tents. The site features a…

Beautiful area

There were a ton of sites here, but only a handful occupied during a week in midJune. The flies and gnats were kind of bad, but we had a screen room to keep them at bay. Campground was lovely!! Nice variety of sites. We stayed right on the water. The lake was beautiful. Town of Inlet was pretty…

Spacious and near the water

The campsites inside the park are very crowded so make sure you get one on the road. They are roomier and spaced apart. Each campsite has it's own outhouse and you are close to the water so you can fish or park your boat by your campsite. Book early cause they fill up fast. You still have access to…

Truly Golden Beaches

this was a beautiful place to camp. The water is an amber/gold color and the beaches are sand. They have a boat launch for kayaks which came in handy during my stay. No cell service. This has great secluded campsites off of the main road that are by the water in the woods. Def reserve early if you…

Small ,quiet ,peaceful, good fishing, wooded

About 35 spots all non electric, many on the water of the oswegatchie river. There is shower and rest rooms. A small boat launch area. A new playground in 2017. Worth a look if you like your peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful.
