Due to its proximity to Niagara Falls, it is no surprise that HTR Niagara Campground (formerly Branches of the Niagara Campground) is a popular camping destination. The campground is located just a few miles from the falls, one of the world's most famous natural wonders. Great location and amenities

We visited out of season so pools and other summer facilities were closed for season. Perfect location if visiting Niagara Falls or Buffalo. Family with children should visit during summer season. Lots to do.

Amazing campground

This place is amazing. The sites are very nicely spaced and level. Bathhouses are some of the nicest I’ve seen. So much to do that’s included in the price of the stay, which I thought was very reasonable. I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely will try and return here.

Fancy and worth it

Every campsite is spaced apart so you have room to relax. Green grass and picnic tables. Clean restrooms and showers. We showed up late, they have a good setup for late check-in. We left in the morning. We did not use their other amenities, but they looked fun with many activities for the family and kids. This was a dog-friendly campsite.

Family perfection at a price

This place is 3x what we normally spend at state parks and not really our style..... but it's pretty awesome. Two nice pools, lake, mini golf, beautiful playground, nice camp store, ziplines.... our 5, 3, and 1 year olds loved it. Super close to the falls. Full hookup site and decent space between neighbors. Ours was one of the best sites for space and privacy.

Great campground close to the falls

Bathrooms were clean and nice, sites were good size and good spacing apart, plenty to do at the campground if you aren’t going to the falls, if you are it’s about 10-15 minutes drive.

Beautiful, well maintained campground with all the amenities. Free WiFi, mini golf, kayaks, peddle cars, heated pools, and a small convenience store in case you forgot anything. 15 minutes from the falls. Great location.

Amazing Campground!

This campground has definitely reinvested in their camp! The sites upfront are closer together- but the ones in the back are great spaced. The pool was excellent for the kids with the lazy river. The store was beautiful. And they had a running trail that I was able to run 3 miles on and it was so peaceful. Only hesitation is it was pricey. But it was close to the falls and camping luxury - so it was worth it.

Perfect sport for exploring Niagara and family fun. We had a beautiful shaded spot with W/E. Lots of room to spread out. Tons to do for the kids pool, mini golf, crafts, fishing, laser tag etc. Very nice staff, very clean, and a ten minute drive to the falls.

Great amenities, very clean

Reservation and check in process was very easy.  Facilities were clean and modern.  The lake is lovely and while I didn't use the playground or zip line, they look like great entertainment when traveling with youths.  It is not a far drive to Niagara Falls.  I was very happy I chose this park.

Near Niagara Falls

This is a very nice campground on Grand Island, only a few miles from Niagara Falls on the American side. Our site was a back-in site bit was easy to get my rig in.

The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable, the price was high but not unexpected considering the location. Our site was pleasantly shaded with rubbish bins a short walk away across the road.

Very Nice and Big Rig Friendly

We stayed here for five days and had a blast. Gravel roads and pads but level and no issues with mud (it rained). Several laundry rooms, bathrooms, cabins, playground, pond to fish in, paddle boat and bike rentals.

Covid update on one of my favorites

Once again, the Branches of Niagara comes through stunningly. Even in the midst of the lockdowns and augmented restrictions, TBON went above and beyond to be sure we had the safest and most enjoyable time we could during our stay.

Bathrooms, as usual, were pristine, with regular visits from the staff to disinfect and make sure campers were satisfied. This is a campground of several lakeside cabins and mostly RVs, so they were also seldom in use, making them even more accommodating for us during this time of distancing. They notified us in advance that they were still open and what was functional under the strict and ever changing NY requirements. Note: as of Summer 2020, masks were required to enter the store and check in areas, but not required elsewhere. Kids activities were augmented to allow for distancing and remain completely outdoors.

We got site 10, which was excellent both for proximity to everything, hookups, privacy, space and views. This particular site had ample, mowed and cleared room behind the spacious site as well where you can set up your hammocks and relax in the wooded shade. Directly in front of the site is a clearing which allows a view to the pool and pond-side of the campground. It was quiet and clean.

Stef is always friendly, and the camp store rents a number of items to add to the fun - paddle boats, kayaks, 4 seater bike surreys, peddle carts, and other fun things. Zip lines were both still open. Activities were updated to reflect safety during C-19.

Beautiful, peaceful, spacious campground with so many hidden gems. The lake is pretty and the campground’s access from the Grand Island side of Buffalo to Niagara Falls is very convenient, yet away from the loud commotion and traffic. We highly recommend!

Really nice place

Beautiful fairly new campground. Small beach area, zip line decent size store. The sites are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are spotless and the staff is second to none. Sites are water and electric with a dump station on the way out. I very strongly recommend this place. It’s still kinda small but expanding each year.

Beautiful campground

This is a fairly new campground on Grand Island near Niagara Falls. There a lot to do here, kayaking the pond, 2 zip lines, miniature golf and great pools. The bathroom/showers are spotless. The sites have a decent amount of room and many have a lot of shade. They have back in or pull through sites, cabins, tent sites and even yurts.

Best campground yet

This was the most perfect family campground we’ve been to. The staff is very nice and they’re always outside working and helping. The back sites were perfect and decent sized. They have every amenity you could need and the grounds are pristine. Our favorites were the 3 pools and brand new playground. We have little kids and they were just as entertained as all the big kids. Very clean, everything was new and updated. Lots of bath house and some with family showering areas. We will definitely be returning!
