Nickerson Park Campground is bordered by the Schoharie Creek from the Schoharie River, offering great fishing and waterfront fun for the whole family. We are a family oriented campground, helping you to create those lifetime memories for you and your children. Here at Nickerson Park Campground, the pace is unhurried, but there's always something to keep you busy ... if you want to be! The days are warm and the nights are just brisk enough to make that evening campfire worth the trip. The air is pure and clean, and the autumn colors are beyond description. Directions
Directions From New York City Take New York State Thruway I-87 North to Catskill Exit 21. Follow Rt. 23 West, approximately 38 miles or 50 minutes. Continue through the towns of Windham and Prattsville. In the town of Grand Gorge, at the blinking light, turn right onto Rt. 30 North. Go 6.5 miles, our sign will be on your left, turn right onto Stryker Road. Campground entrance is 1 mile on left. Directions from Albany Take Rt. 88 West to Schoharie Exit 23. Follow Rt. 30 South, approximately 25 miles or 35 minutes. Continue through the towns of Middleburgh and Blenheim. After you pass Mine Kill State Park, our sign will be on your right, turn left onto Stryker Road. Campground entrance is 1 mile on left. Directions from Oneonta Take Rt. 23 East, approximately 37 miles or 45 minutes. In the town of Grand Gorge, at the blinking light, turn left onto Rt. 30 North. Go 6.5 miles, our sign will be on your left, turn right onto Stryker Road. Campground entrance is 1 mile on left.
