Plenty of things to do," states George. The campground maintains a boat ramp for personal watercraft and offers kayak rentals seasonally.

Wooded privacy: Mountainview Campground features secluded spots with natural screening. "This place was actually fantastic, I don't really have anything negative to say about it. The whole scene was exactly what I love about camping, a nice little remote campground in the mountains," reports Christina H. Sites include fire rings with cooking grates.

"We found parking in the Southern Lot to be perfectly fine and while we were initially worried about leaving our vehicle parked there for a few nights, we were reassured by the park rangers who patrol the lot constantly," explains Stuart K.
Accessible cabin options: Nockamixon State Park Cabins provides alternative accommodations. "The cabins are full electric with heat and are well appointed. It was an excellent fall trip location for a family with young children," says John S. Cabins require advance reservations.

Hiking difficulty: Round Valley State Park Campground requires physical exertion to reach camping areas. "Located just south of I78 and near the small hamlets of Clinton and Lebanon, what I love most about Round Valley SP is the fact that it has its very own eponymous fresh water reservoir," writes Stuart K., who adds, "I have hiked throughout the entire US and consider myself somewhere between a moderate to skilled hiker and I found these trails challenging and uneven."
Water pressure issues: Some campgrounds experience utility fluctuations. At Jugtown Mountain Campsites, "there was some issue with the water pressure during the daytime. Only had 1psi of water pressure. Couldn't take a shower or wash dishes," reports David B.
Strict arrival policies: Several campgrounds enforce check-in times. "I reserved two nights, but the first night we were not going to be able to arrive until after 9. After talking to them, they would not allow us to come late, but did refund the first night," explains Kyhlea D. about Mountainview Campground.

Playground facilities: Colonial Woods Family Resort offers extensive children's amenities. "The pooL and splash pool for toddlers was clean with a lifeguard on duty at all times. They had a playground, lake where you could fish, cornhole, and minigolf," shares Nicole S.
Quiet camping for sensitive children: Jenny Jump State Forest provides a peaceful environment. "Even though I live 10 minutes away I like to camp here because you still feel a little isolated. With no roads to the campgrounds it takes some effort to get there and it's a beautiful place," writes G V., making it suitable for dog friendly campgrounds near Stewartsville that need low-stimulation environments.
Family activities: Delaware River Family Campground organizes regular events. "They have kayak and tube rentals if you want to float the river. I enjoyed my stay here thoroughly and the rangers we very nice and felt well taken care of and left alone as well," notes Scott O.

Hookup availability: Most dog friendly campgrounds near Stewartsville offer partial hookups. "Our spot was #27 and pretty spacious. The showers were free and clean with hot water and decent pressure. The landing for the camper was even with gravel and the rest of the site was mostly even. The power station was well intact with 15/20, 30, and 50amp," confirms Sarah about Mountainview Campground.
Arrival routes: Driftstone Campground requires specific navigation for larger vehicles. "PLEASE NOTE: if you are towing or have a motorhome, make sure you follow the directions on the website. Coming in from the wrong road could lead you to a hairpin turn and steep hill," warns Jim G.
