This is a have to stay campground

Excellent stay. We spent 2 nights and had 2 sites. Big sites very quiet and the staff I’d exceptional. Even better is the amazing price!

Amazing campground with helpful staff and disc golf course

The name says it all. It has boulders and woods. The spots are tight to get into but the staff will offer to park your camper using your vehicle. I let them park mine and I'm really glad I did. It was super tight. Gorgeous place though. They also have a disc golf course and they rent and sell discs. That's where we fell in love with disc golf.

We stayed there in August 2017.

Not good tent sites

Staff was pleasant. Tent sites were not marked at all. No real clear boundaries of any of the tent sites. Took a awhile to figure out where our site was supposed to be. Other tent campers who arrived had the same issue. Bath house was relatively close and clean. Camp store at office has almost everything you need for camping.

Loved until...

Three years ago, we fell in love with this campground. We knew we had to find an rv and become seasonals. Fast forward, we bought one, went to talk to them... They only allow seasonal campers to be 10 years old or newer. Ours is 13. Very disappointed. But for a weekend away, it's a great place. A little loud at times with the turnpike right there. Overall, I'd weekend here... But not now knowing my camper isn't good enough.

definitely going back

we just got a camper and new car.... we wanted to go just for one night to see how it goes... plus taking a special needs grandson... wanted to see how he did. we got lucky to be around a family who fosters kids w special needs and understands Him. I would say bring your kids bikes... it’s a nice relaxing, wooded area. loved it and everyone was so nice.... definitely gonna go back! 👍🏻👍🏻 for me.

Relaxing, with activities for everyone- Disc Golf Crazy!

We did a weekend trip with just adults, tent camping. It was quite muddy so we moved our set up into the grass field, we reserved the majority of the sites in this location so it worked well. The RV spots seem nice and large. The bathrooms were nice and clean, showers were nice. There are a few bath houses that make the large camp ground have easy access to the bathrooms which I appreciated. The tent sites are on dirt and not stone which we enjoyed, I hate stone under my tent. The general store had everything plus, and very reasonably priced. The camp ground has a very large golf disc course and they seem to have tournaments. They sell disc golf things in the store as well. This course is huge and brings in groups who play for the day. They do allow golf carts we saw gas and powered. Nice and quite. We had a great time and it’s on our list as a successful tent camping location for us. The owners are AWESOME!
