Compared to the surround areas, this place was truly an oasis in the desert as others have said. The hosts were super nice. One can see that they have put some work into this campground to make it so nice and pleasant. We were very glad that we made a two night reservation. This is a great place…
This is a beautiful campground sitting at the base of the East Humboldt Range. Pick a site where you can see the magnificent Chimney Peak and sit back and enjoy the scenery. The campground is well maintained and offers pit toilets, picnic tables, water, and fire pits. Most of the sites are nestled…

There are two lots (see picture). lot 1 is parking lot with hook ups. Lot 2 where we stayed, had full hook ups, though fresh water was still off from winter season. All appear to be pull thru, most with double capacity, 2 hook ups per pull thru, had nice grass and trees. Great place to spend the…

There are actually 2 separated rv parks at this casino. The saguaro park is $5 cheaper and is basically a parking lot with hookups. The other has some trees in between parking spots. Bathrooms/ shower/ laundry well maintained.
A lovingly tended oasis in the i80 desert. A year round creek, walking path, cows to wake up to, mountain views. On the way to California but the kids asked if we could just spend our vacation here 😂 Charming hosts brought us warm homemade muffins in the morning ...!
Located next to highway 80. Easy location when traveling between California and Utah. Not sure where the lake is but a good place for a one nighter.
This a pleasant little camping spot in the hills outside of Wells. There isn't a lot of privacy; camping spots are clustered around stands of aspens dotted along the hillside. And it can be a little crowded because there are very few NFS campgrounds in this part of Nevada. But its pretty, clean,…
A hidden gem amongst Nevada’s desert.
Grass everywhere! In a desert environment. Clean and functional showers and bathroom. Very inexpensive to park on the grass and throw up a tent or sleep out. I-80 noise is ever present so be prepared. Street facade is not as nice as the reality inside so go for it.
Really beautiful area but not much privacy between sites. We stayed there 2x, once during week and once on weekend which was noisy after dark. Star viewing was outstanding!! Lots of coyotes howling at night, I loved that. We had trouble knowing ahead of time which first come slots were open.…
This is a very basic RV park we stopped over on our way to Yellowstone from Reno, NV. Small, clean sites packed tight. Bathrooms and laundry were immaculate. Short walk to a small grassy park or casino for a decent dinner and check-in.
The owners, Steve and Nancy, have done a lot with this little campground to make it so beautiful and well kept. There were tree swings, benches along a stream, a garden, and beautiful vistas. The spots are mostly grass, which is nice. It’s a true diamond in the rough.
Half way up mountain with small number of sites divided in 3 loops that make the number feel smaller. Most sites are nestled into their own cove in the trees. Short drive/hike to alpine lake. Only complaint was 2 of the 3 water spouts didn’t work.
Surprisingly beautiful site, right outside of Wells, in Northern Nevada. The actual camp sites are small and relatively close to one another, but it's beautiful up in the mountains the lake is absolutely gorgeous. Good place to fish, swim or kayak.
It’s a windy road with a dead drop on the outside lane to a very high canyon with no guard rail... but it was SO worth it! The campsites are open, but separated by bushes and the hill that they’re naturally built on, bathrooms are very clean and the view is just out of this world.
There were a…
