Looking for a place to go glamping in Nevada? Glamping is not only a fun alternative to traditional tent camping, but also an eco-conscious way to explore Nevada without leaving a carbon footprint. You're sure to find the perfect glamping site for your Nevada camping excursion.
Fifteen primitive lakeside campsites are available along Upper Pahranagat Lake. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. They are free of charge, though a donation box is provided at the registration kiosk if you choose to make a contribution. The refuge may reserve sites for youth groups participating in a service project as part of their stay. If you'd like to organize a service project, contact the Visitor Services Specialist at 775-725-3417 ext. 101.
Several of the sites can accommodate multiple tents, camping trailers, or RVs. No electrical, water or waste treatment facilities are available. Vault toilets (no flush) are provided. Visitors may stay for a maximum of fourteen days within a 31 day period. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Generators are allowed, but if the generator is noisy it should be shut down overnight to respect other campers.
Fires are allowed only in provided grills and fire pits. Please do not construct rock fire rings.
Baker Creek Campground contains 37 campsites. All sites are available, when the campground is open (seasons permitting), on a first-come-first-served basis. Potable water is not available.

The campground road is narrow with tight turns.
The North Loop-Mt. Charleston National Recreation Trail begins only 1/4-mile away. Robber's Roost and the CCC Trailhead are located nearby as well. The Spring Mountains Visitor Center is a short drive from the campground, offering guided hikes and educational programs.
The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area is a beautiful island in the desert, brimming with breathtaking scenery and diverse flora and fauna. The Bristlecone pine, the world's oldest organism, and the rare Mount Charleston blue butterfly are both found within the Spring Mountains. More than 100 springs create the namesake for the mountain range, making it an ideal place to escape the heat of the city. The campground is situated so campers are awarded sweeping views of the Mojave Desert below and Spring Mountains above. Stands of juniper, mountain mahogany and ponderosa pine forest the site and provide limited shade.
More than 60 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails crisscross the area; two trails allow mountain biking. Rock climbing, picnicking and scenic driving are popular activities.

Well the Camphost Bob is amazing. 1/2 of the campers are folks passing through and either keep to themselves or are kind. 1/4 are homeless from Vegas, that kept to themselves and then there was the one bad one that was supposedly passing through that went to jail. Just be mindful of your area and belongings.

I stayed here at the last minute and was welcomed by the staff upon arriving. Good sites with decent room, the bathroom and shower facilities were excellent and everything was very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

TravelerQuiet beautifully maintained campground with a dump station, portable water, spigots near restrooms and flush toilets. Firings and picnic tables at each site. Very few sites for rigs over 26’. A few larger sites are offered, but be certain to check what size can be accommodated. Most sites are wide enough to park a 26’ trailer and tow vehicle side-by-side. Some vegetation but not much shade. This is the desert! One beautiful trail about a mile and a half long starts behind campsite number 74.Just minutes from the city of Henderson with all the shopping you could ask for and a short distance but LOTS of traffic to the Las Vegas Strip. Hoover Dam is about 30 mins and Valley of Fire 1.3 hours.

Very simple and clean park but it is right next to the highway with very limited amenities. Their “amenities” they list online are not accurate but again it’s nice and clean. Also make sure you have a secondary form of transportation since this place is secluded due to private neighborhoods so there is no access to town via bike or on foot.

Restrooms were locked up, which was unfortunate. It was cool and breezy so we stayed on the lower end of the loop away from the highway noise and closer to the lake.

Can’t have dogs on trails. As a ranger put it, dogs can go anywhere your car can. Campsite was great, pretty good privacy between them with the trees and everything. Bathrooms clean and there were multiple within walking distance of campsite.

We normally prefer wilderness parks, and generally avoid RV parks. We’ve stayed in a few though and this one is by far the absolute nicest one we’ve ever stayed in!! It recently changed ownership and the new owners have invested in a first-class place! We had to find a last minute place on a Sunday due to the Davis Creek Regional park fire. We pulled in here and were helped by a wonderful young woman in the office. What I liked most about this place was that it is more spacious than typical RV parks. Also, more importantly, the bathrooms were amazing and deserving of the “resort” name. While there may have been a few rigs here longer term, their sites were neat and orderly. The location is by a highway (and behind Costco), but the noise wasn’t bad at all. The pool area is beautiful and includes outdoor grills and a gas fire pit. There is minimal shade as the trees are all new. The laundry rooms (2!) were lovely. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful and well run facility. Does it compare to a state or National park, no. But for what it is it is outstanding!
LegendThis is my 2nd time staying here. Stayed last summer as well. Great place to camp even if it's just for the night. Very quiet other than some highway noise but wasn't distracting. There are larger spots up top as you come in, more spots down at next road and a few down by water and boat ramp. Self pay station is on 2nd level down by the vault restrooms.
RangerWe pulled in at about 4:30 pm on a Monday evening after Labor Day. Tried Upper Lehman, it was full. Lower Lehman is closed. So we chanced Baker. Drove into the left loop which has some larger sites, luckily found one of the three left that suited us. Only trouble is that it was super hard to level our 21’ class B. It is quiet and not many people have fires so it is not smokey. We can’t hear the creek from here but have some nice open views. It was very dusty on the road in and in the campground, but a light evening rain probably tamped down the dust. Partner says lit toilets clean. I haven’t used it yet.

This site is actually called the “Walker Lake Recreation Area” by BLM. Sportsman’s Beach is the camping area nearest the water (which is still 1/4 mile away at current lake level). There is an upper area near the highway and a lower area best suited to RVs. There is a $6 fee for camping. Dumpsters are available for trash.

Campsites backup to big creek which is nice to sit and listen to the sound of the water rushing. Not much shade and there were lots of Mormon crickets roaming the campsite but otherwise a great overnight spot.

Glamping Adventures— the name itself evokes images of luxury and customer-centric experiences. However, my recent interaction with this company has shattered any illusion of professionalism or integrity they might claim to possess. I booked a glamping experience with Glamping Adventures, enticed by their promises of unique stays and excellent customer service. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a frustrating and deceitful ordeal. Initially, everything seemed promising. I made a reservation well in advance, excitedly anticipating a getaway that never materialized. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my reservation and was assured by Glamping Adventures that I would receive an almost full refund if they managed to find a replacement guest. Nef stated he was, indded, able to find a gust to take my spot. Here's where the nightmare began. What followed was outright negligence and disrespect for a paying customer. My subsequent emails were met with radio silence. It seemed as though Glamping Adventures had conveniently chosen to disappear rather than fulfill their promise or even communicate honestly. I have kept meticulous records of every interaction— emails detailing their refund policy, promises made and subsequently broken, and the growing frustration with their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. These records serve as irrefutable evidence of Glamping Adventures' unprofessionalism and lack of respect for their customers. In conclusion, if you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of Glamping Adventures. Their enticing promises of a luxurious outdoor experience are nothing but a façade for poor business practices and outright dishonesty. The charm of glamping is tarnished when the company behind it fails to uphold basic standards of customer service and transparency. I urge potential customers to learn from my unfortunate experience and choose a reputable company that values its patrons. Glamping Adventures has lost not only a customer but any semblance of credibility they might have once had.
TravelerI paid 66$ for a walk in camp ground thinking parking was only a few yards from the camping site, but it’s actually a couple hundred yards. This would work if you have a ground tent etc to take to the camping site. In my situation I have a truck with a rooftop tent and I thought it be parking only a few yards from my site. Which make this reservation completely a waste.

I didn't want to leave but we were running out of previsions. However before we left I hit a rather large root in the pathway and popped a tire. It is all dirt roads. I had to change a tire on a soft dirt road, it was almost impossible. We caught some sprinkles, which was awesome to escape the Las Vegas heat. The hike at sawmill was great. Not to hard. We made it to a peak. Seen horse's, lizards rabbits, and preying mantis. No amenities or water source. There is no fires allowed, stoves ok. There is a picnic area at sawmill trailhead with tables, grills and bathrooms. A few minutes walk or about 1 minute drive. I will be back. It is first come first serve there are no fees except gas and maybe a tire.
