GuidePerfect place to get into the water to cool off on a hot summer day. Tranquil, expansive and unique. Until that one group who shows up... with the jetboat, the generator, and the spotlight. So, maybe avoid weekends, holidays and other days that might encourage people to gather together... if you want to enjoy the water, quiet, and the stars. Definitely worth it if you want to cool off... much nicer than the other side.
RangerThis place for sure needs a high clearance vehicle. We came in at night and was hard to tell what were spots and which ones were occupied. Road is very rough so ended up staying near the beginning of this road. No amenities here.
ScoutStayed here for a few days before heading to Zion. Great location with all the hook-up’s. We stayed near the laundry and shower/bathroom station and initially concerned about foot traffic but had very little. The place is kept clean and the pool was great, especially to cool down to beat the Las Vegas heat. I would definitely recommend.
GuideBeautiful spot with a great view of the lake (we arrived at sunset) and we were greeted by a very friendly but shy donkey! The access road was 3 miles long on very rough gravel with a lot of sharp rocks so it took us about 30 mins in our car to get there. We have hammocks that can be used as one person tents, and obviously there are no trees here. The ground is a little uncomfortable as it slopes down towards the water. Otherwise it’s a great spot and wish we could have stayed longer! PS it is VERY hot at night!
GuideJust make sure the locks on your rig are working and don’t leave anything out that you want to hang onto. Price is reasonable for Vegas and the proximity to Fremont is nice but it is definitely sketchy. Check in is at the Main Street Hotel and the staff and security are all super friendly and helpful but downtown Vegas is downtown Vegas so just be aware.
RangerStayed one night as we passed through. Spots we nice and level overlooked a small canyon. Campmhost was an older gentleman and was super nice. Water available and very clean bathrooms. Was plenty of vegetation between the campsites. Wasn't a whole lot of people there when we were. Was worried a little a bout th3 crime s other campsites mentioned issues closer to town. A dirt bike cameripping through at about 3am but that was about it. There is a section dedicated to no generator use if you want the extra quite. Temps were at 102 during the day and 70s at night.

RangerThere are some soft sand spots. Pretty wide open spots. No services. Cell service. It was very windy, and sand everywhere, so only stayed here for 2 nights.
RangerStewart’s point was great to us! Came in at night and woke up to some awesome waves. It was very windy when we stayed here. You can hike forever and close to valley of the fire! There is one toilet- didn’t check it out. Done service here. Lots of donkeys around but they didn’t bother us.
