Quiet, clean and convenient

Located just around the corner from a full service (Def pumps) Maverick truck stop, this quiet RV Park is a convenient stop along I80. Pull into an open spot in the overnight section and then walk over to the office to fill out an envelope, deposit cash or a credit card slip (4% fee) and then hook up for the night.

The sewer, water, electricity and cable TV hookups are all in great working order in all the sites we saw. Wasn't busy the night we were here.

Great overnight spot!

Great place to spend the night. Very clean & well maintained. Level gravel sites. Gorgeous laundry facility! Directions to get here off the exit were incorrect. Just look for the Maverick gas station. Only negative was you had to pay for the showers - but the bathrooms were big & extremely clean.

Great Overnight Stop

Perfect overnight stop on our way back to California from Utah. Gravel pads. Owners were super accommodating and friendly. Called ahead, late arriving. Full Hookups great cause this is high desert and pretty hot in July.

Easy access and quiet

Great place to stop for an overnight stay. All self-check in no staff when we were there. Good price for full hookups. Has super clean bathrooms with showers. Expensive $1.50 for 3 minutes, 50 cents for each additional minute. We chose not to use the showers at that rate.

Nice, well kept CG

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site 54 for one night in late May. The CG is very clean and well maintained. Although, the CG website says they don’t take reservations, as they always have spaces available, but there were only a couple open when we arrived.

AT&T coverage was pretty good, ranging from 2-3 bars of 5G, with speeds up to 9 MB/s. Site 54 had access all 3 western DISH satellites.

Nice RV park

This place is well maintained - spaces are a little close but not bad. Gravel, few trees. There’s a HUGE dog run that’s really nice. I was surprised that the showers were coin operated.

Ground tenters need not apply

First, the campground is geared towards rv"s and RTTs and trailers. Most of the sites are pull thru, with several back-in. Normal tent camping wont work.

The facility was clean and welcoming. However, couple bones of contention kept me from giving it 5 stars, here's why:

  1. If you are in a RTT, there is a lot of light in parking lot. The back in locales are right near office, so street lights, cars pulling in, etc.
  2. The two bathrooms were amazingly clean. However...YOU MUST PAY SEPARATELY TO USE SHOWER! 1.50 to start, and a quarter each additional minute.
  3. No change machine!!! Good thing I had 2.00 in quarters, and I take fast showers!
  4. The back in spots are near the dumpsters...so you get an occassional whiff of garbage.
  5. Union Pacific main tracks are about 2 or 3 blocks from the locale, and the sound the whistle all night.

Easy overnight camping

Called ahead, but that was not necessary. The reviews say it all. Pull in, do self check in. Great pull thru spots. Plenty long 90 ft! and wide. Fenced dog area was a very big plus!

Perfect overnight

I love the ability to come in and pick a spot and pay in the morning. It was so easy and convenient especially being the closest place. Loved i didn’t have to get online or talk to anyone at an office. They are VERY organized with arrows, labels, and instructions. Highly recommend. And yes, everyone raves about the dog park but i don’t have pets but it was really big.

Great stop for the night

We drive a 25' Class C. We needed to take showers, dump our tanks, and do laundry. This place was perfect. As others said, it's all self check-in. Because we are over 22 feet, the park required that we take a pull through spot for $40. The park was very clean, the laundry room was very clean, and my husband said the bathrooms were terrific. You have to pay for showers in quarters, so we showered in our rig. On a Saturday night, the RV park was nice and quiet and there are also beautiful views of the mountains. We would stop here again in a heartbeat!

Great Spot for an Overnight Stop

Perfect for a one night stay. I called when we were about an hour away and was told they had several spots available. The gentleman on the phone was really helpful and explained the self check-in process and the best location for utilizing the dog ‘park’.

Self check-in was both easy and convenient. They take cash, checks, and credit cards (additional fee for credit).

There are both pull-through ($40) and back in ($35) sites. The sites are gravel and offer plenty of space between neighbors. We did have to level our rig just a bit. All hook ups worked great.

The dog ‘park’ is actually a huge fenced in lot and was very handy giving our 3 Aussies room to stretch their legs.

There was a bit of road noise at night but it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep.

$35 for full hookups in a very clean RV park? Definitely worth it!

Super clean with fenced dog park

Not cheap - but worth the $40. Check in was easy. We arrived about 8pm so used the self service envelope... they even accept credit card (we paid cash) Very clean park, nice wide, long spaces - PLENTY long enough for our 40’ Super C and Jeep in tow... they had a HUGE fenced dog park. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very clean and well set up.

We stayed here one night. The site was long and wide. The showers were spacious and top notch clean. There was a row for overnighters and a row for longer stays. It was super quiet and we had neighbors on either side. There was a Napa Auto parts downtown in this small town. We have nothing negative about this place.

Cute spot

Please read fully so you know. It was definitely a cute spot. stopped here from our trip from Indiana going to California. THERE WAS SELF CHECK IN WHICH WAS SUPER Convenient because we got in at 1130 pm & checked out at 8 am. I do really like the spot, the electric worked fine. It was a VERY quiet spot. But there is a lot of people parked, but you don’t really see them. There’s some swings & a basketball hoop. I would probably stay again. Only downfalls, the dog park & the showers. The dark run is HUGE but it isn’t that secure, there’s spaces under the park which dogs can easily slide under. But it is a very big dog run. The showers, they do cost money which kinda sucks when you are paying for a spot. But I’m not mad about it. For the complaints about the staff, I had no problem with the man in the office, but boyfriend & I talked to him because he stopped us & he was very nice.
