Welcome Station RV Park

Beautiful setting, nice hosts.

We have stayed here twice on our travels too,  and then back from, Yellowstone.  I donlt think there's a bad location in this this RV Park.  The owners are taking very good care of the park and the sites sit in the shade,  Nice to walk around the garden and grounds as well as watch the horses next door.  We found the owners to be very polite and welcoming and it was very relaxing location.  We look forward to our next visit.

What a fun place. They have activities for the kids and the host are supper friendly. The Gift shop has everything you could possibly need. Just a cool calm place to relax after driving in the Salt Lake City traffic then the winds of I-80. The a spots have lush green grass. It’s like a little oasis.

What a gem of a find. Nancy, Jake, and Casey are great people that run this oasis. Very long pull through sites available, up to 90 feet long. A couple of dozen backin sites, and tent camping also.

This RV Camp is close to I80 so there is some noise from the trucks running over the rumble strips.

Great WI-Fi. Cell phone connection of Verizon is weak.

I would stay here again.

Everything is so green here and you are in the middle the high desert.we were greeted and shown to our site, I think we had the best site in the RV Park. There is a little freeway noise, but the green grass, mature trees, creeks, pond and gardens make it so peaceful.

Welcome Station is a privately owned RV park just off I-80 west of Wells, NV. The owners take great pride in maintaining the property and treating their guests with courtesy. You can tell that this family-owned business wants you to have an enjoyable experience. While the spaces aren't huge, there's plenty of grassy open space to walk around and stretch your legs. The traffic noise can be distracting at night for light sleepers but bring a set of ear plugs and get a restful night's sleep.

This is a beautiful and restful RV/tent campground. The hosts and staff are friendly and I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The hosts at this park are awesome. And their little store/office has local eggs and wagyu beef! Very well stocked (unlike 1000 trails). Great job!

This place is just fantastic! It literally seems to be an oasis in the desert. Super green with big shade trees. There are two creeks running through the property. There's a museum and a community fire pit and it seems to be run by a family that is super friendly and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. I will be back for sure.

The only downside is the noise from the freeway but it's not terrible.

This stay was an incredible experience! Yes, it's right off of i80, and there is highway noise, but the rest of the experience easily canceled that out.

Staff is incredibly helpful, laundry, a mini store, and gardens to explore on site. We stayed in a tent at site G right next to a mini creek and the gardens. Horses can be seen on neighboring property.

I can not recommend this stay enough! Truly an oasis in the desert as advertised. ❤️

Small RV Park set among mature trees. Grass and gravel pads. Near freeway. Nice stop for one night

This RV park is not very big! It is a peaceful, warm, friendly place to stay over night or for a week. Staff are always on hand and most helpful. You may be surprised in the morning to find some fresh baked cookies or muffins on your steps to your camper. The grass is always green and the trees are huge and well cared for. A mountain stream travels through the park with lovely footbridges and daffodils, tulips and various other flowers blooming. The photos don’t quite do it justice. We visit every year and Al’s way enjoy our time.

In the middle of the Nevada desert along I80, there's a nice RV oasis for a stopover for travelers.  Located just west of Wells, NV, this mom and pop run RV park has nice trees, grass and grounds including a pond.  There's a small store with goodies and wagyu locally raised beef.  We picked up some ribeye, t-bone and new york strip.  Woke up to blueberry muffins on our doorstep baked fresh by the hosts.  Would highly recommend. Highway noise was faint and not bothersome.  Spaces are a little close together, but it doesn't feel crowded.

One of the best camp grounds around. 95 when we pulled in 4pm. At our great site 86 and a wonderful breeze. No a/c needed. Steve and Nancy have it dialed in. We will be back.

Beautiful RV spots right off the freeway. Decently priced. Owned by a wife and husband who are very kind and helpful. Has a creek on the premises, showers, laundry. You can drink the water

Easy enough to reach from the freeway but that also meant it was very noisy, even from our spot further away and closer to the ‘nature’ end of the park. We had a very hard time falling and staying asleep due to large transit trucks flying by and hitting every pot hole and groove all night long. Spots are a little closer together than most would probably prefer but that didn’t change usability. The facilities were clean, functional, and we appreciated that the bathrooms were locked and also well heated. Wi-Fi was decent if you have to work occasionally like I did. Owners were nice enough but atheists/non-religious folks beware; they will be giving you a born-again agenda/proselytizing book upon arrival. This made us uncomfortable and we wished we had known before booking. It was a very short overnight stay so didn’t get to participate in any of the scavenger hunting or other games they have set up.

What a beautiful little place! Green grass all over, and big shady trees. Called in just before closing and they had a site available for the night. When we arrived, they came out to meet us and escorted us to our site: pull through, full hookups. Very friendly. Sites are long and narrow, room for the slide but you’re in your neighbor’s picnic table area. Can hear the freeway noise but it’s fairly constant so it was easy to tune out. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place. Such a beautiful view out our back window. The grounds are the best part. Grass, trees, and a little stream running through. Best spots are the back-ins if you have a back window to look out. I want to come back for a week. But be prepared before you come. Just one grocery, a hardware store and Family Dollar - 8 miles away. That's it. But there is plenty of rest and relaxation available, no need to leave.

This is a tiny gem in the middle of the desert! It’s so deceiving even as your getting off of I-80 it looks kinda like a dump. It’s small but very pretty and relaxing. No pool, no kids playground, just beautiful grass, trees, and a little creek! It does have full hook-ups, bathrooms, a laundry room, and a tiny little store where they sell ice cream and home grown beef from the local ranchers!

Nancy and Steve, the owners, are just wonderful. It's seconds off of I-80. Yes, there's some traffic noise, but I don't care. I love it anyway. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room are all spotless. There are several pull thrus, multiple backin spots, and there are also a few tent areas. It's a small, older RV park and the spaces are close together. Again, I don't care about that. The acerage is covered with old trees, lush green grass, and a beautiful brook running through it. People describe it as an oasis and, to me, that's completely appropriate. I've stayed there 3 times over a two yr period and I will again if my trip takes me their way.

Welcome Station is the perfect stopping place between Idaho and places to the south! Just when you thought stopping in Wells was icky, drive a few miles west to the BEST little park operated by the friendliest people! Carefully tended grass, huge trees, a creek, beautiful flowers... just what you need when you're sick of driving in desert! Full hookups, quaint, clean restrooms - even a museum! Steve and Nancy are the greatest!

This little gem is an oasis of green grass and good shade. The rv spaces are a little close together but the expansive open green grass areas make up for it. The gardens and lawns are immaculate and the owners are very welcoming. We messed up our reservation on line (wrong day). The owner called when we did not arrive and graciously moved us to the next day.

Convenient stop, nice folks. We stop here when we are trying to get the heck out of the heat, and ususlly manage to get this far on the first day of driving. It's a sweet little spot; green and cool. Cute gardens and streams running through the property. In the middle of no where, but a great first stop when you are trying to get north.

Very pleasant RV campground in a grove of trees. Sites are close together, but friendly hosts and fellow campers make up for close quarters. Nicest. cleanest bathrooms we've seen in our travels. Beautiful shaded grounds with a mountain stream flowing along the edge of the campground. We stayed 2 nights and were glad we did.

We were able to to get a pill thru site for our 42 foot toy hauler. First night was great, and we had good views from our windows. The following nights we had neighbors, and slide outs were nearly touching, and require you to (for privacy) keep your shades drawn. The gardens, stream, pond, and very knowledgeable and friendly hosts make up for it.

Nice place to visit ghosts towns, and see Elko “ Star hotel “ for a real live basque meal ( a once in a lifetime meal) if you are lucky.

The perfect spot after a long day on the road. Nancy and Steve are wonderful hosts and the experience was such a positive one from the first phone call through our stay. Steve met us at the entrance and escorted us to our site. The grounds are very well groomed and there is ample room to relax in the shade or walk by the creek. Try the cute ladybug scavenger hunt if you have little ones….or even if you don’t have kids. It’s a great way to experience the property,

We’re likely to stay here again on our return trip.

This was an amazing surprise in the Starr Valley. After a long drive through a lot of desert, we were weary of this RV park. We were not only surprised and pleased with the lush green campground, but the stream and welcoming hosts made the campground one of the best! It is a gem in the desert. And we even got muffins in the morning! There were full hook ups and clean bathrooms and showers. There was even a free small Museum on site about the place.
