Death valley

We stayed here to visit the Death Valley. It is a gravel lot close to the casino. Shower/bathrooms are inside the casino building. Convenient option in the middle of the desert.

Convenient and serviceable - not a place for atmosphere

First of all, staff was great. Check in is inside the hotel/casino/convenience store. Restaurant on site to that is okay.

The sites themselves are just a gravel lot with hookups.

Cell service was okay.

Also has a gas station - better fill up!

Easy drive into Death Valley.

Close to Death Valley

We stayed here for two nights, one night in the RV park and one night in the hotel. Calling this an RV "Resort" might be a bit of a stretch but it was nice enough. It's basically a big parking lot with hookups. We were disappointed that there were no picnic tables. The night we were there the campground was only about half full so we were able to pick a site that was away from everybody else. There is no bathroom/shower building, so you have to go into the Casino to go to the bathroom or take a shower. They have a nice convenience store and a gas station that also has diesel. The campground has too much light at night for our tastes. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was very good. The second night we stayed in the hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean.

The main reason we stayed here was so that we could visit the nearby Ash Meadow Wildlife Refuge. This place is a must see! The largest oasis in the Mohave Desert. There are miles of boardwalks that take you around some springs and a very nice Visitor Center. And it's free!

Really easy place to stay for access to Death Valley

Stayed here on a 3 day trip to Death Valley. Full hook up for $35/night, 30 months from Death Valley-easy drive. It’s basically a parking lot but we’ll maintained, WiFi, a store and casino, showers and bathrooms. And gas here is literally 1/2 the price you’ll pay in Death Valley.

Close to Death Valley

We could not get into the full hookup campground in Death Valley so opted to stay here. D.V. is an easy 45 minute drive. This park is a gravel lot behind a small casino. Clean and wide spaces. Clean bathrooms and showers. Casino provides restaurant, pool and some gambling. We would stay here again.

Very chill RV park behind a casino

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere- which is awesome! We drove away from the campground at night for some amazing star viewing. The casino food was okay. This place is about forty five minutes away from Death Valley National Park. Campground is nicely maintained. Theoretically there are showers inside the casino but we have yet to actually find them 🤷‍♀️ My dogs had fun barking at the cow, sheep and donkey at the casino “petting zoo” which was really just a few poor animals living sad lives in a tiny fenced in area. The Mountain View is amazing for sunsets and definitely a plus!
