Rest stop

If you love the sound of freeways this is the place for you. No hourly rates, 12 was minimum. Million dollar failure.

Neat location; didn’t love rv spots

The area as a whole is neat. The primitive sites are spacious and lovely. We have an rv with 50amp service and essentially, we were on a converted parking lot next to a pavilion. The sites facing the river were a bit nicer.

There is security that drives around to check on everyone which is nice…

Fun, clean and family friendly

We booked a RV trip here with another family. We were able to reserve side by side and had a great time. We even scheduled a float trip. The general store has most everything you need, its quiet, family friendly and well maintained. There were many activities to choose from. We are excited to go…

Lots of Family Fun

We love to camp here, we have lots of friends here, old and new. There is swimming year round with 2 indoor pools, hot tubs and sauna. Summer time swimming at 1 outdoor pool and 2 swimming beaches at the lake. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and fishing boats. Plenty to do all year round…

Quiet and relaxing

This place is really awesome! One of our favorite stops all year. Full hookups, level pad, clean, and quiet.

Jason met us within minutes of our arrival and was very welcoming. Check it was easy and straight forward. We bought ice for $3 and farm fresh eggs for $2.

You need reservations. It is a…

Doesn't feel like MO

I've been going to klondike since I was in the scouts. Once I started to drive I tried to go out atleast once a year.

Peaceful

We stayed in our pop-up camper that was close to the road at the front of the campground. Across the road was the river so we were close to the river which was very nice. We did take a walk through the campground which is very large. We found a dry riverbed where we looked at rocks. There was a…

Family fun

Lost valley happens to be one of our favorite camp grounds. They are extremely family friendly, they have an indoor pool, hot tubs, and sona, an outdoor pool and hot tubs, inflatable jump pillows, concerts almost every weekend, full hookups, plenty of tent camping sites as well, two swim beaches…

quaint and quiet, cave-tacular

Stayed here last night and was thrilled to see the platforms were clean, I cracked concrete, with plenty of grass space to boot. The lots, at least 1-9 are well spaced. The proximity to the cave tour is wondrous and worthwhile

Great Little Campground

Found this great little Harvest Host to start our summer trip. Their website has the best and most detailed directions we’ve seen to date, so follow those versus your GPS. Haven Hollow is well off the interstate and is very quiet. The campground (CG) is back about 3 miles off some  very country…

Quaint and quiet

This is a small campground but right next to it there is a lot of land to walk through. Sheri/Sharon the owner is right up there with one of the coolest women I've ever met. She gave us Maps for the trails and where there was nearby trout fishing. It is close to the road so a little noisy. The…

Love Huzzah!

Our family loves Huzzah Valley. We have been tent campers our whole lives and just recently purchased a travel trailer. This is our first time at a RV site here at Huzzah. Great site on the end. Extra space for our two dogs to run around.

Great accommodations and a beautiful river

We stayed 2 nights in our van. Campsites are close but could be worse. River is gorgeous and the park offers trails, caves, cabins, clean showers/bathrooms and friendly staff.

Simple campground off I-70

Nice simple campsite with a relatively clean pit toilet. Easy to find flat ground to pitch a tent. Just far enough from 70 to be quiet and there was only one other campsite taken.

Clean, quiet, and private

We stayed in space 46 for one night. Great view. Then entire campground was empty. I recommend for view 45 and 46. Although these spots are far from the river, they have the most privacy and best view.
