Mountain Primitive Camping

Description

We are a family-friendly, drug-free primitive campground tucked away at the end of a paved road in McDonald County, Missouri. Just minutes from Northwest Arkansas, our campground offers a peaceful escape where you can enjoy nature without the noise, light pollution, or distractions of everyday life.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets, quiet surroundings, and plenty of space to relax. Our amenities include a picnic table, horseshoe pits, BBQ grill, and individual fire rings.

This is camping in its simpler form, with no water or electric hookups; just fresh air, natural surroundings, and a chance to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks. Just 20 minutes from NWA makes this a great place to wind down at night after a full days worth of hustle and bustle. If you're on an adventure motorcycle, this is pure paradise. McDonald County has several hundred miles of gravel roads to explore.

Whether you're looking for a quiet overnight stop or a place to unplug and recharge, we welcome you to come enjoy a little peace and quiet!

Just $10 per night per site is hard to beat. We offer firewood, 5 gallons of drinking water and creek access for additional fees if you choose. But if you wanted to just camp, find your own firewood (limbs, etc) or bring your own that is fine too. Everyone welcome.

My FAVORITE place to camp, hands down! It’s right on the Arkansas/Missouri border, there’s a creek right down the hill, there’s tons of wildlife, it’s peaceful, quiet, and affordable!!! I stayed for 5 days last time, and I didn’t want to leave! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 they have RV parking and beautiful tent areas too!
