Awesome RV park

Very well laid out, clean, and cool RV park. Easy access to highway, very spacious and new bathrooms and showers. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Family Fun!

We took our kids for the first time and it was a great trip! I’ve always lived Oak Mountain so I for sure go back as often as I can. We stayed on 42B which was an AMAZING site. My favorite one so far. There was a lot of traffic just because that was the way to get to the campground beach, but it…

Quietly Spacious

This was by far one of the most quite COE campground we have been to. We made the mistake of booking the FlyerFly loop, the bathhouse was closed due to COVID. The camp host was very nice and helped us move to Yellowhammer where the bathhouse was open. So if you are looking for a spot near an open…

Hoover Rv Camp Review

It's mostly for Pull Alongs, 5th Wheelers & RV's, no spots for a Tent trees far away but not too far. On the outskirts of a parking lot of a stadium!

We love Deerlick! Nice cleans sites, happy hosts, and clean bathhouse! We can’t wait to get back. The recreation options were endless.

IN THE WOODS

4 miles from I-22,  about eight spots available mostly back in, but we got one of two pull thru spots.  Jr Beasely always carries extra lumber in his gator for leveling assistance.  At 85 he is very spry and energetic.  Says he bought this property 26 years ago when health issues forced him and his…

Camping with grands

I have stayed there 2 times with grands. Cell/Wifi is non existent. Some parents do not supervise their children. Host and manager are good and try to stay on top of things. They are very responsive

Clean and easy access.

Checked in after hours and was still helped to find a suitable site for my camper. They seem to reserve spaces just for single night stays, which was nice as was pretty full. Staff was helpful and site was clean.

Weathering the Storm

The other reviews are accurate but honestly, I loved this place. The owner is awesome and was able to accommodate our last minute 2 am check in. He met us at the gate and escorted us to our site. The facilities were probably lovely back in the day but we still enjoyed walking around exploding the…

Great relaxing place

We love this campground.   Very relaxing atmosphere.   Hiking is good!!!  It is very quiet and very dark at night!!!!!  Great family outing!!

  • The falls with my hubby!!
  • The falls are a short, easy hike from the campsites.

Friendly Folk

More of a community than a passersby campground. We arrived late at night, but the manger on site was more than happy to accommodate us. Tent camping available a short hike away across a creek.

Small park, but well kept

Made a weekend trip to Rickwood Caverns and it was nice. There’s not much going on other than the cavern tour which is pretty good. It’s about an hour and a half start to finish with a fair amount of walking. They give a small discount to campers but it was still $47 for a family of 4 (12 and up…

We loved out spot here. The campground was very quiet. Both camp hosts were extremely nice and helpful. There are beautiful views overlooking the lake and lots of hiking trails and waterfalls. We had dinner nearby at Lakeshore Inn. We liked the food, servers were friendly and outside dining…
