Very shady and peaceful trip

We have enjoyed our stay here and will return. There are a lot of shady sites. They only downfall is the restrooms. Luckily we have sewer and do not have to use them however if you do need to use them be aware of the bugs. Doesn't seem like they clean the bathrooms too often because there's bugs…

This is essentially 3 separate campgrounds under one location. Sites with sewer hookups are scant & located on sand & dirt sites..we were told we could go into the Mohawk campground and try to find a cement site with sewer hookup, but we found what looked liked homeless encampments (long…

Great Campground

We have a pop up camper and because of this we were worried about not having a lot of shade. The great thing about this park is that it has shade all around because it pretty much is on the side of the woods. There were some tighter sites to back into but, nothing terrible. The beach was only a 10…

Great Hosts and Great Facility

First night in our new Class C. The owner met us at the gate, escorted us to our space and showed us how to hook everything up. Campgrounds and all facilities were very clean!

Pretty, social

Again, last-minute choice for an overnight that was a pleasant surprise. The campground itself isn’t that big, and the main loop is wide open with pads not far apart. If you want to hang out with other campers, this would be the place. We picked a site on the far, little loop which was much more…

Quiet and Clean

The place was really quiet, honestly wish we would have seen more campers out of their campers but if you don't want to be bugged this is the place. It was clean, nice pool, nice lots, they have bathroom facilities and laundry facilities although we didn't use either the place was well kept. Tom…

Very well kept with easy access to all Biloxi has to offer!

Beautiful park and very clean. Michael, a/k/a Santa (Alumni) was exceptionally thoughtful and a very hard working man. He ran security as well and I felt safe. The amenities were excellent. Nice pool and bath house. I will be back!

Great quaint park

Nice people, concrete pads, full hookups. The river provides entertainment and a place to cool off on hot days. Several pull thru spots, most are back in.

Shepard State Park, Gautier MS

I love this park, camp sites are well spaced and private with some water fronting on the Pascagoula River. Water and electric at each site with dump station at the entrance. Can't beat the price at $18 a night, reservations available on their website.

Very relaxing

It is a smaller but well maintained campground ran by a family. Nice large cement level pads. Rigs of all sizes fit. Very nice bathhouse and pool. Stayed for a few months.

Great value and beach location

Stayed one night not reserved in a 21 ft motorhome with full hook up. Staff was great and even security on site. Had a nice shaded lot but not very private. See photos for amenities. Laundry and bath house/ restrooms very clean but not recently updated. Dog area great - fenced with double entry…

Beautiful historic park

This place is rich in history and is absolutely beautiful. We came in on a Tuesday in July and had the tent section to ourselves. It was quiet and secluded. The ground was a bit wet from the morning rain but we were able to find a dry spot to set up camp. There are numerous trails to explore and…
