We have visited Sloppy Floyd twice and would stay again. Nice large spaces, could be more level. Great for families and kids with large playground. Clean bathhouse with$1.50 load laundry. Nice Camp host has been there for years and looks after the kids

Cool place to stay and visit. Was there during the 1st part of the COVID happenings! The staff was nice and friendly and started following the state guidelines... Was nice to see. Thanks! Spaces were a bit close but lots of shade in the upper parts of the CG. Lower section is more open due to a…
Great hosts and great spots. Needs better parking for primitive camping.
We have tent camped here multiple times. Great place to stay. Owners are super nice and are working on a lot of upgrades. We love spending the day by rhe pool. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
There are few places in Alabama that RVers can camp on a pristine Lake Front. Honeycome Campground is located on Lake Guntersville; AL. A perfect secure campground for those camping alone or with your family. During season and with the uptick of camping wit COVID it’s hard to book a site but well…
This campground is not our favorite. We have stopped coming here because there are so many long term campers there making the place look run down and unkempt.
We like to come here for lake time. Easy to bring and access your boat from launch and paid boat slip. Campground store is nice. Some sites are nicer than others.
I was able to move to a 2nd site. This one is nice. Plenty of room, nice shade, full hook ups, private, fairly level. I would come back here if I could reserve another spot like this one.

Very convenient spot with a nice lake view. The sites are close, but everyone is friendly and courteous.
The campground has new ownership. It looks looks like they are trying to make improvements but have a lot of work ahead. Most of the roads and RV sites are gravel. There are very few level sites. The one we stayed had a 2’ elevation change. The back of my rig was almost touching the ground…
I just pass by this place and it’s gone. It has been cleared and they are building a warehouse on its location.
We went twice before. Once in September of 2020 and once in May of 2021. We absolutely love this campground. Its peaceful and right by the water! The market is a plus too!

Wow! Camped at west rim site 17, and it was huge, with tons of room. Fire ring is a distance away from the rv, so that is awesome. Shady, and close to the west rim trail! Just heaven!

I live in the area and have stayed both in our RV and in the Loft Cabin. Super convenient to everything. Nice facilities all around.
We go here often because it is only $3 a night. The only downside is no cell service (I guess that is good for some, but not everyone).
