## Overview

Isaac Creek Campground is located on Claiborne Lake in Alabama's southwest Hill Country.   
  
The lake encompasses more than 60 miles of the Alabama River, and Isaac Creek has great appeal to sportsmen, birders, naturalists or those simply wanting to relax in the outdoors. 

## Recreation

The area's waterways offer anglers the opportunity to fish for largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish.   
  
Boating and water sports are also a main draw to the lake, and a boat ramp is provided for easy water access.   
  
The vast expanse of surrounding land allows for bow and shotgun hunting for game like whitetail deer, wild turkey and hog.

## Facilities

This year-round campground offers 60 sites with electric hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station and laundry facilities.   
  
A boat ramp, dock, fish cleaning stations, basketball court, playground and picnic shelter offer countless recreation opportunities for visitors.

## Overview

Millers Ferry Campground, also known as East Bank, is located on scenic Dannelly Reservoir in Alabama's Black Prairie Belt. The reservoir sits on the Alabama River and covers roughly 27 square miles, boasting more than 500 miles of shoreline.   
  
Boating, fishing, hunting and hiking are popular activities.

## Recreation

The park offers excellent fishing for bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish, and numerous fishing tournaments and annual festivals are held in the immediate area.   
  
Whitetail deer and wild turkeys roam the park, creating excellent bow-hunting opportunities.

## Facilities

This campground offers 42 family sites with electric hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities and a dump station.   
  
A fishing dock, boat ramp, fish cleaning stations and playground provide additional recreation opportunities for guests.

## Natural Features

The Black Prairie Belt is characterized by rich, dark soils and a mosaic of rolling grasslands and dense hardwood and pine forests.

Millers Ferry Campground

An overnight campground in a quiet country setting. It includes a beautiful fishing pond filled with bass and bream. A clubhouse is available for guests to use; with bath areas, laundry mat, and an area for groups to gather. It is located a mile off of Exit 101 on I-65. Stop by and visit with us!

Owassa Lakeside RV Park

We are in a quiet area with access to a town aprox. 18 miles away. We are about 45 minutes from the Alabama River and an hour from Millers Ferry. There is a Robert Trent Jones golf course near by and we are about 2 1/2 hours from the beaches. With a total of 265 acres, we have 2 ponds and a creek for fishing and recreation. The land consists of open fields and woodlands. Pitch your tent in one of our beautiful grass covered fields and enjoy access to 263 acres of pure nature. You can go fishing, swimming, hiking, or sit back and enjoy the sounds of nature on this farm out in the country. You can even go wading in a beautiful creek. Get off the beaten path! If you live in the city, you will see stars, in the night sky, that you never get to see where you live. 35 minutes from Millers Ferry on the Alabama River. 50 minutes from Montgomery, the state capital, and 30 minutes from Cambrian Ridge golf course on the Robert Trent Golf Trail. We are horse friendly and have a pen where you can keep your horses. Stalls are in the plans and hopefully should be completed sometimes late next year! We have made some major changes, that began this year! We Opened our Camping Season on March 1st and now extend it throughout the entire year! We have eliminated the hunting lease and are now a Wildlife Preserve! We are focused on a major effort to vastly increase our Wildflower populations as we have begun planting a minimum of 1 million new seeds, each year for the next 3 years! The colors should be awesome! We are planting strawberry patches, Blueberry bushes, and Fruit Trees, as well as improving existing stock! Now is the perfect time to come and enjoy exploratory hikes and leisurely walks along our many roads and trails! There are very few tall grassy areas and most of the ground is still visible, from this years controlled burns! The number of plants blossoming will steadily increase throughout this growing season, providing multi colored eye candy! If you have not been exposed to the Corona Virus, we also offer a secluded area to come and lay low, until the crisis has passed! We are not gouging prices and we ask that you not come, if you have been exposed to the Virus, until you have passed through adequate quarantine! &nbsp;IMPORTANT: &nbsp;In order to comply with Public Safety Guidelines, Murchison Farm's Primitive Campground will host no more than 5 groups of 4each, at any given time. Each group will be assigned an area and asked to not interact with other groups. If You are getting tired of those 4 walls yet, Murchison Farm's Wildlife Preserve and Primitive Campground offers a Great Place to take a break, and get Out into the Wide Open Outdoors! Don't waste time, make Your Social Distancing Experience exciting and full of new experiences! If you are interested in some of our current Blossoms catering to Pollinators. I caught some photos of a huge Green Moth, just shortly after it exited the cocoon. It's wings were mostly dried out, except for the very ends. They were still curling out. Would have been Nat. Geo. awesome if the full event had been videoed! If You look at the Photos, compare the Moth's size to the Pick-up Tire! I would love to see You add some of Your Own photos!! If You like to Fish, You might want to book early. We only have 2 areas with Bass, Brim, etc… And only 2 areas where You can Fish Ultra-Light. Each camping party will be assigned only one of these sites.​We will have very little interaction with guest, other than an occasional check to make sure all is well.​We Use several Booking Venues, so please remember bookings will be first come first served! Whether you need a campsite for your camper or tent or you need a great accommodation at our place, we have plenty of options to offer. Nestled beneath a thicket of pines, you will find our 30 AMP campground that includes water and electricity. Upon the hill overlooking the 30 AMP campground and pavilion area, you can also find our 50 AMP campground. It includes a good supply of water, electricity, and sewage.

At Boggs & Boulders, we also offer camper and bunkhouse rentals. Currently, we have rentals that sleep eight to twelve people. Elm Bluff

Roland Cooper State Park is a beautiful, peaceful campground on the Alabama River in Southwest Alabama. It has 55 RV sites, 15 primitive sites, 12 fully furnished cabins, 2 primitive cabins run from a generator (between hours 6 am-12 pm) a pavilion, boat launch, and Day Use Area. All RV sites have water, electricity, and sewer. The river is well-known for the great fishing. It is also a great place to kayak and canoe. The roads leading to the campground are paved and all sites are level and on a paved pad. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There are 4 bathrooms, all are heated, 2 bathrooms have showers with hot water and flush toilets. A dump station is located in the campground at no charge to those who are camping. There are two hiking and biking trails within the campground.

All RV sites come with full hookup, which includes water, electricity, and sewer. All campsites have a paved level pad, and a fire ring with grill top. Activities include, but are not limited to, basketball, fishing, picknicking, volleyball, and corn hole, which are free to all campers.
