One of, the best, if not the best Thousand Trails Park’s where we have stayed. An out of the way location, but nice spots on a huge lake.
Easily one of my favorite campgrounds to visit. Plenty of trails to walk or ride and just a great place to get away from town.

Great, quiet campground. Clean bathrooms and a great place for kids to ride bikes. Lots of shade! We were here visiting family for a few days and would definitely come back

This campground became one of my favorite AL camping spots!!! We stayed here for memorial day weekend and I don't believe there were any empty sites! It was packed.
The sites were close enough to see your neighbors but far enough away to not hear them! At least ours was that way.
We stayed in…

We stayed in early August for 2 nights in the Sleeping Waters campground.
We got there pretty late (after dark) for setting up camp, and I do not recommend doing that. It's about a quarter of a mile walk to the campsite, but the site is absolutely gorgeous! Very secluded and very roomy! The…

Sites are kinda tight but everyone was very friendly and nice to talk to. The vendors in the art cabins was very nice and had amazing work. Any thing you need is at the store also drinks food and simple rv necessities and firewood. And a lot of history and hiking.
Very beautiful place to stay staff is a little rude
I've been going there since I was a kid it's not as peaceful as you used to be but it still is beautiful
Although we didn’t get a chance to stay the night here on the most recent visit we had an incredible time exploring the lake and beach areas. We also had a chance to wander around the camping area and check out what is available. The lake itself is not enormous but perfect for those who prefer a…

Due to poor GPS routing that wanted us to take roads not suitable for RVs or Camper towing, that meant we had to stop and map ourselves to a safer route; we arrived just at posted closing time. The staff was very helpful despite our untimely arrival. Our campsite was clean and well maintained. Bank…

Campground is shut down. Run down. Hasn’t been up kept for some reason. Guessing COVID. Did have boat ramp and a vault toilet for day use only. Looks to have been a nice place when it was opened.
Our first time to camp here; first impression was how clean the sites are. Warm showers and flush toilets. Our site is overlooking the water, each site has water and electric. $28 for RV sites and $20 for tent sites. Very spacious. About a 15 min drive to Tuscaloosa. No firewood or camp store, so…

Our campsite was wonderful. When we started to kayak there was a ton of trash in the water but eventually the water started moving and cleared it out. Probably had something to do with the dam. We found what looked like it could have been a hiking trail but it was overgrown.
We stayed at a great waterfront site, which was amazing, and had full hookups. (Although it did get full sun in the afternoons, which was warm) Some of the other sites are W/E only and some are not as great. The park buildings and docks are a bit dated, but the staff was very nice. The lake is…
