Nice place with couple fishing lakes and creek. They do not allow you to bring your own floats, but tubing with theirs is $ 5 per person. General admission was $ 5 per person. They have canoes. Some nice shaded lots BIG need more signs. Clean beach area.

Stayed here while evacuating from Hurricane Ida, and the staff was super helpful and accommodating. Hopefully, we can come back for pleasure one day and do some fishing in the lake.
It's a decent place. The staff was super nice! Very accommodating! For the price, almost $50 a night, it could have been allot better. The campground is decent, but the portion between the campground and lake needs a serious cutting! Kinda ruined it for us cause that! The wifi was OK, when it…
I've been at this camp site my whole life alot of good memories, fishing and solitude.very special place and has a history that I will never forget,🥵
I love this campground. The amenities, the lake, and the beautiful nature trails make this place special. All of the campsites are shaded by tall long leaf pines. Both the Sweetwater Trail and the Bear Lake Trail are part of the Forest Service's Trailwalker Program.

Me, my wife and a few friends decided to winter camp here 1/17/2021. The manager was super friendly and love talking with the guests. We ended up needing to park more cars than the park rules stated but the manager was very accommodating. Quiet campsite besides the occasional otter diving in the…
Spent a wonderful few days here with the wife and kids (which are canine, btw). Well kept grounds, superb staff and a lot to do in the great outdoors. Several campsites on the lakefront with great views. And there's an island full of armadillos.

Sherling Lake is owned by the city of Greenville. It's located right next to the beautiful Cambrian Ridge Golf Course which is a beautiful Championship course and part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The campground has water and electricity hook up along with a dump station and a very clean…
Very clean, quiet campground. The campsites were a little less private than we prefer, but if that’s not an issue for you, this is probably a great spot. Campsites #1 and #2 seemed to be the most secluded. Lovely little nature trail and a playground for the kids. Beautiful lake view right off our…

This camp ground is a must consider for those seeking adventure...as the name implies!
Nice sites spread throughout the recreation area. Although they are free they most be reserved online at www.camplife.com. the sites each have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. They are currently working to add pavilions at each site. Trash and a porta potty are located on site. There is also a…

Full hookups, playground for kids, lots of little lakes and river access throughout the park. It was too cold for water activities during our stay, but we had a wonderful time walking around and exploring the property. Quiet, clean spots. Wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Campground itself isn't large only about 50+ sites. Most are full hook up with less then 20 being power and water only. Very well maintained and always making improvements.
Sites~ most are spacious but need more tree growth to have the illusion of privacy. Pads are gravel but fairly level. Some…
Quiet, clean and reasonable. We’ll definitely go back.
