## Overview

Millers Ferry Campground, also known as East Bank, is located on scenic Dannelly Reservoir in Alabama's Black Prairie Belt. The reservoir sits on the Alabama River and covers roughly 27 square miles, boasting more than 500 miles of shoreline.   
  
Boating, fishing, hunting and hiking are popular activities.

## Recreation

The park offers excellent fishing for bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish, and numerous fishing tournaments and annual festivals are held in the immediate area.   
  
Whitetail deer and wild turkeys roam the park, creating excellent bow-hunting opportunities.

## Facilities

This campground offers 42 family sites with electric hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities and a dump station.   
  
A fishing dock, boat ramp, fish cleaning stations and playground provide additional recreation opportunities for guests.

## Natural Features

The Black Prairie Belt is characterized by rich, dark soils and a mosaic of rolling grasslands and dense hardwood and pine forests.

COE Alabama River Lakes Chilatchee Creek Campground

Roland Cooper State Park is a beautiful, peaceful campground on the Alabama River in Southwest Alabama. It has 55 RV sites, 15 primitive sites, 12 fully furnished cabins, 2 primitive cabins run from a generator (between hours 6 am-12 pm) a pavilion, boat launch, and Day Use Area. All RV sites have water, electricity, and sewer. The river is well-known for the great fishing. It is also a great place to kayak and canoe. The roads leading to the campground are paved and all sites are level and on a paved pad. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There are 4 bathrooms, all are heated, 2 bathrooms have showers with hot water and flush toilets. A dump station is located in the campground at no charge to those who are camping. There are two hiking and biking trails within the campground.

All RV sites come with full hookup, which includes water, electricity, and sewer. All campsites have a paved level pad, and a fire ring with grill top. Activities include, but are not limited to, basketball, fishing, picknicking, volleyball, and corn hole, which are free to all campers.

Please view further details regarding policies and rates upon selecting "Reserve Campground Now". All sites require a 2-night minimum stay. Please call the campground directly to request an exception if you wish to stay for just 1 night.

Roland Cooper State Park

Welcome to Buckaroo Campground and Rv park! We are located right off of highway 80 and 4 miles from River Road. Old Jones. We are also located Five minutes from the famous and historic Edmund Pettus Bridge ! We have plenty of activities for all ages. Enjoy our beautiful pond, fishing with our famous trophy fish, hiking, camping, relaxing and more. All Rv sizes welcome, pull through and back ins. ( we can always help, if needed.) Pets always welcome and always free. We have 30 amp, 50 amp and 200 amp electricity lookup, sewer lines and on site laundry. Industrial Workers Welcome!

Buckaroo Campground and Rv Park 

Elm Bluff

Service Campground is situated along the high banks of Coffeeville Lake, the third largest lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway in Alabama. With a surface area of 8,800 acres and a length of 97 miles, the area provides excellent opportunities for camping, fishing and boating. Recreation Fishing is the most popular activity on the waterway. Whether fishing on or off shore, anglers can fish for bass, crappie, bream, catfish and other species. Visitors have the convenience of a boat ramp, and children can make use of the facility's playground. Campers can also sit back and enjoy the peaceful, scenic shoreline. Facilities Service Park offers 32 campsites, including two tent-only sites, all with 50-amp electric and water hookups, picnic table, lantern holder and campfire ring with grill. Campsites are spacious, private and located near or close to the water. The facility also provides laundry facilities, hot showers and other comforts of home. Natural Features A mixed pine and hardwood forest lines the lakeshore. The campground is surrounded by dense conifer stands and rolling meadows that feature colorful wildflower displays. Wood ducks, bald eagles and many other species of wildlife inhabit the lake area. Service Campground

We are in a quiet area with access to a town aprox. 18 miles away. We are about 45 minutes from the Alabama River and an hour from Millers Ferry. There is a Robert Trent Jones golf course near by and we are about 2 1/2 hours from the beaches. With a total of 265 acres, we have 2 ponds and a creek for fishing and recreation. The land consists of open fields and woodlands. Pitch your tent in one of our beautiful grass covered fields and enjoy access to 263 acres of pure nature. You can go fishing, swimming, hiking, or sit back and enjoy the sounds of nature on this farm out in the country. You can even go wading in a beautiful creek. Get off the beaten path! If you live in the city, you will see stars, in the night sky, that you never get to see where you live. 35 minutes from Millers Ferry on the Alabama River. 50 minutes from Montgomery, the state capital, and 30 minutes from Cambrian Ridge golf course on the Robert Trent Golf Trail. We are horse friendly and have a pen where you can keep your horses. Stalls are in the plans and hopefully should be completed sometimes late next year! We have made some major changes, that began this year! We Opened our Camping Season on March 1st and now extend it throughout the entire year! We have eliminated the hunting lease and are now a Wildlife Preserve! We are focused on a major effort to vastly increase our Wildflower populations as we have begun planting a minimum of 1 million new seeds, each year for the next 3 years! The colors should be awesome! We are planting strawberry patches, Blueberry bushes, and Fruit Trees, as well as improving existing stock! Now is the perfect time to come and enjoy exploratory hikes and leisurely walks along our many roads and trails! There are very few tall grassy areas and most of the ground is still visible, from this years controlled burns! The number of plants blossoming will steadily increase throughout this growing season, providing multi colored eye candy! If you have not been exposed to the Corona Virus, we also offer a secluded area to come and lay low, until the crisis has passed! We are not gouging prices and we ask that you not come, if you have been exposed to the Virus, until you have passed through adequate quarantine! &nbsp;IMPORTANT: &nbsp;In order to comply with Public Safety Guidelines, Murchison Farm's Primitive Campground will host no more than 5 groups of 4each, at any given time. Each group will be assigned an area and asked to not interact with other groups. If You are getting tired of those 4 walls yet, Murchison Farm's Wildlife Preserve and Primitive Campground offers a Great Place to take a break, and get Out into the Wide Open Outdoors! Don't waste time, make Your Social Distancing Experience exciting and full of new experiences! If you are interested in some of our current Blossoms catering to Pollinators. I caught some photos of a huge Green Moth, just shortly after it exited the cocoon. It's wings were mostly dried out, except for the very ends. They were still curling out. Would have been Nat. Geo. awesome if the full event had been videoed! If You look at the Photos, compare the Moth's size to the Pick-up Tire! I would love to see You add some of Your Own photos!! If You like to Fish, You might want to book early. We only have 2 areas with Bass, Brim, etc… And only 2 areas where You can Fish Ultra-Light. Isaac Creek Campground is located on Claiborne Lake in Alabama's southwest Hill Country.   
  
The lake encompasses more than 60 miles of the Alabama River, and Isaac Creek has great appeal to sportsmen, birders, naturalists or those simply wanting to relax in the outdoors. 

## Recreation

The area's waterways offer anglers the opportunity to fish for largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish.   
  
Boating and water sports are also a main draw to the lake, and a boat ramp is provided for easy water access.   
  
The vast expanse of surrounding land allows for bow and shotgun hunting for game like whitetail deer, wild turkey and hog.

This year-round campground offers 60 sites with electric hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station and laundry facilities.   
  
A boat ramp, dock, fish cleaning stations, basketball court, playground and picnic shelter offer countless recreation opportunities for visitors.

The campground is situated between Isaac Creek and Claiborne Lake, in a forest of hardwood and pine.

## Overview

Foscue Creek Campground is nestled on the forested lake shore of Demopolis Lake, the largest lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway.   
  
Demopolis Lake offers 10,000 acres of water to explore. The region is excellent for hunting, and game is plentiful.   
  
Foscue Creek Campground offers a peaceful retreat for families, anglers, boaters and those who want to get away any time of year.

## Recreation

Fishing and hunting are the most popular activities in the area. Whether fishing by boat or along the bank of the park, anglers can fish for bass, crappie, bream, catfish and other species.   
  
Day-use visitors and campers alike can enjoy a boat ramp and hiking trail at the campground. Foscue Creek Nature Trail takes walkers and joggers along the shoreline and provides benches for wildlife viewing and trail markers for tree identification.

## Facilities

This facility has both a day-use area and a campground. There are four shelters for group picnics of between 25 to 80 people.   
  
The 54 campsites feature picnic tables, lantern holders and campfire rings with grill. Campsites are spacious, private and located near or close to the water.

## Natural Features

The campground lies south of the confluence of the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Rivers. The Black Belt region of Alabama is a diverse area of dense conifer stands and rolling meadows that feature colorful wildflower displays. Wood ducks, bald eagles, blue birds and many other species of wildlife inhabit the lake area.   
  
Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway consists of six lakes with a total length of 457 miles and 39,800 surface acres of water.
