Beautiful spot

We came off the Rimrocker trail and spent a night here. The river was high and fast, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves in it, with caution! This campground is amazing! They're slowly working on making it a spot that is comfortable and welcoming. New shade trees have been planted, tons of…

An experience you will never forget

We were fortunate enough to book this campground for one night on July 4th. There are great views of the mountains and arches that you can walk to from your campsite. The amphitheater where they hold events is right in front of a large arch. The bathrooms are clean and well placed so it isn't too…

Nice views, quiet, & cool at night

Was hotter than Hell on arrival, but thankfully cooled down enough to need a light blanket in my tent. Pitched my tent closer to the river, stars were amazing. Traffic very minimal, but starts early in the morning. Beautiful views & nice to hear the water (Colorado River).

Roomy site with great views

We camped at the Bobcat campground in Sand Flats recreation area. The sites are roomy and site 1 is fairly level. They all have beautiful views of red rock walls. There is no shade as you would expect for this area. They have pit toilets and hand sanitizer but the flies in the bathroom were…

Perfect spot for overnight stop

We spent two nights at this campground and found good spots both nights, the road goes on for a while and there are plenty of spots. If you want a good spot/spot closer to the entrance definitely try to arrive a bit before sunset. This spot is very close to Arches National Park and the Canyonlands…

Best place you’ll ever camp!

Free campsite, about 45 min or so from Moab. We needed a 4 wheel drive to reach it. The map took us through this park for a while and we were skeptical, but the views were incredible and SO worth it!

great view, quiet spot

Arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon and the camp was pretty empty. I took site 11 for the view and it was lovely (13 looked even better though) . There is a little hiking path around the camp and I think an ATV area, but there wasn't anyone really using either while I was there. Beautiful sunset, …

Camp on the rocks

Very nice area. Was a bit crowded. Very large places for group campers. Most camping spots are actually located on rock bed.  Road in was a bit rough but doable

WENT LOOKING FOR THIS ON AND PER RANGER THIS IS CLOSED AND NO DATE TO REOPEN TO PUBLIC. IT WAS CLOSED DUE TO BEING MISUSED, TRASHED, AND PEOPLE DUMPING THIER TANKS ON THE GROUND.

Great, especially for free!

Had a great time camping with my s/o over memorial day weekend. There are literally dozens, if not close to a hundred camping spots and some are more accessible if you have a 4x4 or are able to carry your camping stuff in a short distance from the road. Views are great depending on where you camp,…
