We were at the Lower Campgrounds. It was perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful, did not even notice other campers around. (I can’t speak for the Daggett Run side though). Bathhouse was very clean. Had a good time fishing at the lake and stopping for ice cream at the beach shop is a must!

Cabins are great for families and there are also activities and hiking....Close to some attractions for adults and children too.
I went with 2 of my best friends and the stars were magnificent! Saw multiple shooting stars as well! The campsites are a little too open and close for my liking but the area in general is beautiful! So many hiking trails as well with hills and water!

Cathy was great. Totally laid back, super helpful. The grounds were well kept. We had a full hookup site. Exceeded expectations.
DONNA AND RICK ARE THE ABSO LUTE BEST. THEY REALLY CLEANED THIS PLACE UP. IVE SEEN THIS CAMPGROUND GO THRU 5 OWNER AND DONNA AND RICK ARE THE BEST SO FAR.
Was planning on camping at Cherry Springs but it was full for the weekend and decided to say here. Great location to camp with family and friends.very quiet campgrounds, clean bathrooms, and the beach at the reservoir makes for a great day of swimming or fishing. About a 10 or 15 minute drive to…
We stayed at site 109 and loved our time at the campground. Our site was across from the bathroom and wasn’t as private as some of the others but we were rewarded with an amazing view. We stayed October 2020 so a little offseason and that may have been part of our check-in issues. When we arrived…
Come for the star gazing, stay for the community and the lovely little campsites. Fire ring and picnic table were a nice touch. Semi-level parking at site 3 for our camper van. Semi-private and shaded on the tree line. If you want closer access to the star field, you want sites 20-26. Bathrooms…
Nice alternative to Cherry Springs. Campgrounds are well maintained. Clean bathrooms with toilets, sinks and shower.
We camped at site #26. Maybe had to walk in about 50ft. to campsite. Has fire rings and picnic table.
Upon entering the park it was a 20 minute drive to our site. Our site was perfect wooded, gravel pad, water spigot across the street, bear proof box (a first for us). Great trails a lot of them, we hit 2, we will be back.
My only complaint the park service asks you not to transport fire wood. …

One of our favorite places to camp. Tent and RV sites are nice, clean. The trees offer great shade and privacy between most sites. The park itself is fantastic with plenty to see and do. Family friendly and kids live it.
This was one of my favorite sites yet. They’re a bit further away from each other and the woods around them are thick. I did have to ask our neighbors to stop blasting “Pitbull” at 11:30PM but other than that, it was a great stay.

We enjoy this campground and try to come at least once a year. We prefer Cain Hollow/Quaker Area over Red House Area for camping. The sites are roomier. This trip we stayed at site 73 with our 27’ camper. It’s not a very deep site but we did have enough room on the non-awning side of our camper to…

We stayed at Lyman Run because we needed electricity hookups, and Cherry Springs didn't offer it. Our trip was for astrophotography purposes, and Lyman Run is only a 10 minute drive away from the Cherry Springs viewing area. Totally worth it!
The good: Daggett Loop sites 16 and 17 are pretty…
