Established Campground

This is an older campground. Service was friendly. The price was the best on our trip!

It was great after a long day on the road to sit & relax. This campground is on the outskirts of Wells. There's some traffic noise, but the Interstate noise was faint. There are loud trains that go…

Great Site, Bad Noise

The campground is modern with all of the glamping amenities. However, Elko is a gold mine Mecca so the trains run, and run, and run. Good overnight, but troubled sleepers will struggle.

A Little Oasis!

The perfect spot after a long day on the road. Nancy and Steve are wonderful hosts and the experience was such a positive one from the first phone call through our stay. Steve met us at the entrance and escorted us to our site. The grounds are very well groomed and there is ample room to relax in…

Nice park

This is a very nicely landscaped park with pull thrus and back ins. Each site has a concrete pad with a good picnic table (no butt splinters here).

One night stand

Nice friendly and we’ll layer out. Very busy with one night stays, seems like Elko is in between Reno and Salt Lake City.

Friendly park

We had a nice, full hookup site and the staff was very friendly. We had a nice view of the surrounding mountains. While the pool area was small, it was refreshing.

Desert Oasis

This was an amazing surprise in the Starr Valley. After a long drive through a lot of desert, we were weary of this RV park. We were not only surprised and pleased with the lush green campground, but the stream and welcoming hosts made the campground one of the best! It is a gem in the desert. And…

Friendly, quite, next to freeway

Spent a week here. Trees are in a lot of the spaces, which is nice to see and have in this part of Nevada. A lot of locals here because of the work in Elko. The staff was very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Restrooms, laundry, 30 and 50 amp services, propane, sewer, and water. We have a…

Awesome place for families!

We were traveling across the country as a family of eight in a tent. Called the same day upon arrival and was able to get a tent site. Planned to stay just one night and ended of staying three! This truly is an oasis in the desert. Beautiful kept grass, sites, bathrooms...great creek to play in…

  • Swings overlooking the mountains beside a stream
  • Our kids spent hours in this stream!
  • Quiet tent sight with a hay field on the back side. Nice picnic tables and tons of shade trees! Even if it hits upper 90's or 100 degrees during the day, the nights are so cool and comfortable for sleeping!

Easy Going Oaisis

I got in just before sundown and was greeted by the owner. I booked online only hours before I arrived midweek (apparently the weekends are busier). I loved the creek and the clean well water. The men’s showers and bathrooms were squeaky clean! I really liked the garden near the creek where they…

Better than an RV Park

We stopped at the South Fork Reservoir when passing through Elko.  This was a great spot to relax from the long day on the road.   Plenty of space for the kids to run around and bike around the campsite.   Bathrooms were very clean and had hot showers.   Was very quiet and great views of the…

Good spot for an overnight !

We felt very lucky to have been able to get a spot here after all the campgrounds in Elko were full and we had an overheating truck. Elko RV Park at Ryndon may not look like much, but the staff and permanent residents make it a gem! Mae, who works in the office, introduced us to a mechanic who…
