No Camping

Arrived late at night and the camping pads were all closed, and there were “No Camping” signs everywhere. Don’t waste your time.

Great waterfall and perfect for hiking. Reasonable prices but need to make reservation. Always booked

Fun in the sun

Great for fishing(trout, strippers, big/small bass), kayaking or paddle board, Boats and jet skis. Market in willow beach and bathrooms. Pet friendly!!

Great for a quick get away.

Mack's is a good dispersed camp ground. No services. Pack out what your bring in!

Its a close drive from Vegas great for a quick get away. The road is a single road and pretty rough a 4x4 is recommended however a skilled driver might be okay in a 2x4. There are a number of existing sites along the road in and a open air camp at the end. All of the sites are good. Its quiet and peaceful. No fires. The park ranger actually checked to make sure we were aware of the fire restrictions. I assume this is due to the Mahogany Fire a couple weeks ago.  Great spot for a nice quick get away from the Vegas heat!

Cool spot in the Nevada Desert

We enjoyed this spot and it is very well maintained. The weather was nice and cool up at approximately 8500 ft. Would stay here again.

Beautiful secluded place

This place is hard to get to but worth it. It’s very isolated and secluded and it surrounded by trees. If you can make it you can camp and have A whole lake to yourself. Huge fish everywhere and cliffs to jump from. You can bring a huge party and be completely isolated from everyone. Trash in trash out. Lets keep this place clean or it will get shut down from the public. L&L: 36.1149 -114.7621

Fun and peaceful

This place has a good trail of you’re arriving on a vehicle. 4x4 is not needed but it is recommended. It’s almost 3 miles of dirt road with a couple of hills. You can boat to this location, hike or driver. When you finally make it you will see that it is worth it. A lot of space for multiple people. It’s usually empty when I go on weekdays. You can take your jet skis and other toys. Fishing is good and camping is awesome. A lot of start in the sky and it’s a good time with friends. Highly recommended.

Nice area to visit

Not sure where those picture of a lake are from in the photos. Kyle canyon is a very busy area with day hikers. Kyle Canyon Picnic site is NOW an over night camp site area. There is a review before saying it isn’t, but they just change the area to camping. So, pack your gear and get up here. The area is nice, bathrooms are sink and flush toilets. Drinking water available for your desire. Some sites are on a slope making it a difficult to find a flat piece of dirt. Lots of trailheads. We did Harris trail, which is a leg smasher. Hold on to your lug nuts because you will get broke off climbing around that area. Good views and the elevation didn’t affect us that bad. Noisy traffic.. lots of motorcycles from the city driving the mountain roads. Bout definitely a place to escape the desert inferno.

Dessert like area

Beware at night coyotes are definitely present. They don’t approach you if you make noise . If they do get near throwing rocks will scare them off. They travel in packs 4-6 at a time . They will surround you and Yelp throughout the night . Daytime is more enjoyable. As long your in a camper or vehicle you’ll be fine .

Clean, Nice, Beautiful Views

All paved. Even the 4 mile road from the Park Gate. I wasn't aware that we needed to pay a park fee even though we booked the site. However if you buy a year pass for 20.00 you get half off your RV space. Havent gone to the marina yet to check to see if the spot is half, but that is what the lady said at the park check in (not RV check in). The power, sewer and water were very organized. Spots clean and organized. We will be back!! What a great park and nice public bathrooms. If your handicap, you can take the handicap RV space. Just need a posted placard.
