Very good campground. RV sites are roomy and lots of pull through sites. Bathrooms and showers were clean and lots of hot water. Definitely would recommend. Easy walk to casinos.
Pretty basic but good for short term. It's just a small cup de sac of about 15 spots at most. All back ins except for like 2-3 pull thrus i think in middle! Don't even think there's a Host on site. Close to nugget and Montego casinos. No bathrooms or trees for shade.
Campground is on the east side of the Ruby Mountains in the Ruby Marshes Area. Shade is provided by pinyon and juniper. Pit toilets, fire pits and picnic tables provided. Lots of sites. Pretty and remote.
This is a beautiful campground sitting at the base of the East Humboldt Range. Pick a site where you can see the magnificent Chimney Peak and sit back and enjoy the scenery. The campground is well maintained and offers pit toilets, picnic tables, water, and fire pits. Most of the sites are nestled…

Great day trip to the hot springs. Brought the dogs & let the run to have a blast. Went in the AM and barely had anyone around. That changed as we progressed into the afternoon (note this was on a Saturday).
Know the road in is really bad so you’ll need a high clearance vehicle. Or you can do…
Clean, pretty spot by the creek. Which is nice and warm from the spring. And a short walk for a dip in the hotspring.
Free/dispersed only. The hot spring is amazing and worth going as far as you can down a very rough road. We camped right next to the warm creek, about a quarter mile before the hot spring and walked to the spring several times a day. There were days when we had the spring all to ourselves, weekends…

Good utilities, nice facilities. Excellent access to salt flats and casinos. The park is gravel but there are a few grass patches. The dog park is gravel. Basketball and other recreation areas are good. Wifi was a nogo for everyone we met.
The hot spring water temp is perfect. There’s plenty of room though when I went there were few people there. The road out is pretty rough - you’ll need clearance though I made it in my Subaru Forester. So glad I came here.
This a pleasant little camping spot in the hills outside of Wells. There isn't a lot of privacy; camping spots are clustered around stands of aspens dotted along the hillside. And it can be a little crowded because there are very few NFS campgrounds in this part of Nevada. But its pretty, clean,…
A hidden gem amongst Nevada’s desert.
Really beautiful area but not much privacy between sites. We stayed there 2x, once during week and once on weekend which was noisy after dark. Star viewing was outstanding!! Lots of coyotes howling at night, I loved that. We had trouble knowing ahead of time which first come slots were open.…
Half way up mountain with small number of sites divided in 3 loops that make the number feel smaller. Most sites are nestled into their own cove in the trees. Short drive/hike to alpine lake. Only complaint was 2 of the 3 water spouts didn’t work.
Is pretty typical for a KOA except for the location! This KOA has all the usual amenities: playground, showers, flush toilets, RV hookups, a pool, and wifi. Some convenievces can also be bought at the main registration cabin. In addition to the usual RV sites there are also camping cabins and…

Stunning view of the Ruby Mountains from the campground. Both loops have easy access to the vault toilets and dumpsters. There is water at the main entrance but it’s a hand pump. The only drawbacks are that the sites are not very level and it would be difficult to get a rig longer than 30 feet into…
