Love this place

One of my favorite campgrounds that I’ve stayed at. We paid $25 for one night, since we were out of state. For that much, we got toilets, showers, picnic tables, and running water to do our dishes and drink from. The campsites are close enough to the lake for it to be enjoyable. Really loved this…

Great overnight

Stopped here for an overnight on the way to Sparks Marina Rv park. Very quiet, and nice area. The last time here the reservoir was full, and no water is available on the south end.

2x in ten days

We enjoyed the quiet stay on our way out to California, so we stayed again on the way back from there.

The entrance and overnight fees are not obviously stated on the entrance shack.

We learned this on our return stay. Awakened by a ranger’s soft knock on the RV door, we were informed that we…

  • Plenty of space for our small RV
  • Covered picnic table by a fire pit.

Good enough for a night stay

There was nothing wrong with this place, it was just kinda blah. Gravel road, sites are paved though. Really close to highway, so noise is definitely heard, even at night. Sites are close together, but there is a small amount of grass between them. There are showers, laundry and Rec room, but we…

It's a nice stop, but weekends might be crazy

The campground was very nice, the showers were kind of scary, but it was still a nice stop. It kind of seems like a party campground, so weekend might be loud. The site are mostly shady.

Great little place to stop.

So this is the campground just below the damn (cross damn first and turn left), but there are other sites up and around the reservoir and boat ramp. This particular campground has trees and paved road/pads. No hookups at individual sites. Water spigots dispersed. Free dump station at top of damn.…

No Go for Class A due to rotted access roads

We drove thru both Fort Churchill State Park Campground and Scout Camp near by. We were looking for a place to camp for the night. We have a 36ft class A with a tow. Fort Churchill Campground is not accessible if you love the paint job on your rig. For lower profile campers it would be ok. Narrow…

Dry camping.

Camping here was great. Many different spots from able to use the marina or at the boat launch still on pavement or just right down on the beach next to the water. Only biggest issue is there is no trees. So no shade. Bring your easy ups.

Nothing Special but a Good Short Termer to Visit the Reno Area.

The RV park was easy to find and enter. Check in was smooth with a very friendly staff, and we were escorted to pull through site 150 with FHUs for our three day stay. The utilities are nicely placed on the middle of the pad. Site 150 is a premium pull through. The only thing that makes this site…

  • Entrance showing back of the office, and they have roses!
  • Park Map. Most of the short termers stay on the two internal rows where our site, 150, was located.
  • Facility that has the rec room, showers, and laundry.

Shady spot by the river

Nice campground located on the river below the dam. Some very shady spots and some not so much. Water available here and there. Quite busy on a Friday night, with generators on most of the evening and lots of motorized traffic. Bathrooms ok and 2 showers in the upper part.

  • A wonderfully shaded spot

Nice spot by the boat ramp

Nicely done. Each campsite has a tree, shelter, table and firepit. Right now, the trees were blooming so lots of birds and bees. Very nice showers.

Sand and wind

Be careful!!! Almost got stuck in the sand while trying to find a spot level enough to park. Many people had dug out around their trailer to get the slides out. Several people used construction generators to power their rigs. Stayed for a weekend. Had a hard time leaving the trailer due to sand in…
