Beautiful gardens, friendly people, very tight spots designed in the 60’s or so

We were able to to get a pill thru site for our 42 foot toy hauler. First night was great, and we had good views from our windows. The following nights we had neighbors, and slide outs were nearly touching, and require you to (for privacy) keep your shades drawn. The gardens, stream, pond, and…

Oasis in the middle of nowhere

Nice place to visit ghosts towns, and see Elko “ Star hotel “ for a real live basque meal ( a once in a lifetime meal) if you are lucky.

Established Campground

This is an older campground. Service was friendly. The price was the best on our trip!

It was great after a long day on the road to sit & relax. This campground is on the outskirts of Wells. There's some traffic noise, but the Interstate noise was faint. There are loud trains that go…

A Little Oasis!

The perfect spot after a long day on the road. Nancy and Steve are wonderful hosts and the experience was such a positive one from the first phone call through our stay. Steve met us at the entrance and escorted us to our site. The grounds are very well groomed and there is ample room to relax in…

Standard Forest Service Campground

This was a solid standard USFS campsite in Sawtooth NF southeast of Twin falls Idaho.  A handful of first come first serve sites, and a nice ~2 mile loop trail starts at the campsite.

Basic, Small Campground South of Twin falls

Basic forest service campsite with only a handful of regular sites.  Trash, water and pit toilets.  Seemed there was an old baseball diamond and horseshoes setup way back in the day.  We ended up camping the next night at one of the other forest service sites another mile or two up the road, which…

Beautiful, quiet, perfect sleep.

This was a very pretty, high desert site with view of the water. Only 7 miles off the highway. Perfect sleeping weather.

Quiet escape

Nice quiet place to stop. Our family loved being able to walk around and see the cows! The camp hosts are very kind and the bathrooms are very clean. The 4 out of 5 rating was because there is no garbage service so you do have to take your garbage with you when leaving the campgrounds.

Inexpensive, adequate, nice bonus

A good stop in an area otherwise lacking in campgrounds. Layout of all pull-through sites. Relatively quiet in the second lot in the back of the casino, although we had to change site because of a barking dog in a neighboring house. The bonus is free access to the casino's very nice pool!…

Desert Oasis

This was an amazing surprise in the Starr Valley. After a long drive through a lot of desert, we were weary of this RV park. We were not only surprised and pleased with the lush green campground, but the stream and welcoming hosts made the campground one of the best! It is a gem in the desert. And…

Awesome place for families!

We were traveling across the country as a family of eight in a tent. Called the same day upon arrival and was able to get a tent site. Planned to stay just one night and ended of staying three! This truly is an oasis in the desert. Beautiful kept grass, sites, bathrooms...great creek to play in…

  • Swings overlooking the mountains beside a stream
  • Our kids spent hours in this stream!
  • Quiet tent sight with a hay field on the back side. Nice picnic tables and tons of shade trees! Even if it hits upper 90's or 100 degrees during the day, the nights are so cool and comfortable for sleeping!

Easy Going Oaisis

I got in just before sundown and was greeted by the owner. I booked online only hours before I arrived midweek (apparently the weekends are busier). I loved the creek and the clean well water. The men’s showers and bathrooms were squeaky clean! I really liked the garden near the creek where they…
