Reservations only

We saw the sign says full, talked to the host who told us Baker’s Creek was first come first serve. The two Lehman Creek campgrounds are reservations only. No overflow rarely a vacancy. We got one of the last sites in Baker Creek.

Dispersed dry camping

Nicely dispersed campsites tho dusty. No reservation campground with fire outs and picnic tables. Sites can accommodate RVs but not very level. Accessible via dirt road.

Pretty good spot, much better than the super dusty BLM option we had to use one night.

Quiet, large private sites

Some reservable and some first come first serve campsites. Sites are offset and separated from each other lending a sense of privacy. Sites are large with lots of foliage/trees giving a lot of privacy. Nice flat pads with government issue concrete picnic tables and giant pedestal fire pits. Running…

Feels like a Disney movie

We LOVED this campsite! there’s a stream, tons of little animals to see, and the spots are pretty private. Well maintained bathrooms. Make sure you visit during a new moon to see the stars.

Great Camping

Really nice campground and site 16 was a great find. Camped right next to the creek behind the main area with picnic table and fire ring.

Serenity by the stream

This beautiful campground is located at the top of a three-mile corduroy gravel road along the babbling Baker Creek, and many of the sites (including ours - #2) are located within toe-dipping distance of its chilly clear waters. Some sites appear to be much smaller. There are also a couple of…

Private Sites with the Sound of a Running Creek Nearby

Beautiful campground amid the trees, with a lovely stream flowing through.

Our site was a great spot for two 2+ tents. It had a picnic table and fire pit. We were right near the pit toilets, but not so close that we got the smell.

No bear issue here. Lock your stuff in your car and it'll…

Spacious

As the connotation infers these sites are large and clean. Paved parking, dedicated tent sites, picnic tables, fire rings and bbq. Clean, well maintained pit toilets. Set in a well treed area with a creek on either side of the loop. A few pull through spots and a few tent only spots makes a well…

Amazing Facility

Sites are situated near the creek and no matter which one your at the bathroom is just a short walk away. Even though it’s a pit toilet the bathrooms are cleaner and smell better than some of the flushable toilet bathrooms in other National Park Campgrounds. This is my fourth time staying at Great…

Spacious, clean, quiet by a creek.

All sites are first come-first served (no reservations). But given the remoteness of the park, there were open sites all week.  Most sites are separated by trees, creating a back-country feel (as opposed to a crowded Nat'l Park).  There is a nice creek along one side, enhancing the camping…

Baker creek, June, 2019

We loved this park, Great Basin National Park and all the hikes were amazing. The campground was beautiful but our particular campsite #5 was not the best. The place to set up our tent was very small and sloping down. It was so windy that our tent would have blown away had we not tied it to the…

Better than expected

I was apprehensive after reading reviews for this campground about how unlevel the sites were. We travel and sleep in our 17 foot van without leveling blocks so we need a level site. Yes, some were not level (but many of those were tent sites) but we found many that were just fine! Site 1 was very…
