Spread out and private

Close to showers and bathroom, not far to walk, nice size campsites and spread out so has the feeling of privacy and some further back are very private. I love that place.

Rainy Visit

We were a little surprised that this was in GA, since the address we had from Good Sam was for Chattanooga. We had a very peaceful visit with our pups and everything is well maintained.

Clean and Nice

One night stop and it’s a great place. Water, electric and sewer which is a huge plus. No cable or internet, AT&T has one bar and no over the air television. We relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sites are level and easy to access

Primitive campsites with Perks!

Desoto State Park is a beautiful park with great hiking and waterfalls. The primitive camping area has a keyed gate. Make sure you arrive during business hours so they can get you registered and give you a key. They will also give you a big card with your last name on it that you will put on the…

Typical county park

Overall a nice experience, campers are nice, Host isn’t over friendly, close to everything and a great price. Haven’t had any issues with electrical as some have mentioned. Stayed in site 34, pull through, with our class A towing. There is I-24 noise, but watching the eagles fly and the view beats…

Spring Camping

We stayed here in May while enroute to Memphis. We pulled a small trailer through the campgrounds and stayed at site A3. Site A3 is a pull thru site, that's labeled at the exit of the site, but you have to drive thru the entire campground to enter and there's no label at the entrance of the site;…

Nice tent camping area

Tent-camped midweek on E210. Lots of open spaces in camp. Tent spot was on level gravel RV pad. Air mattress helped with gravel. Site had water and electricity. Showers were clean with hot water. Be sure to lock up food. We were visited by five raccoons nightly. They were able to get into secured…

Beautiful park

We went during the Folk Festival. The campground was full. We enjoyed our stay. The campsite we stayed at says moderate. If you stay on the paved part, it would be hard to level. But, it had a gravel area you could back into and it wasn’t so bad. Only complaint was our fire pit ended up…

Waterfront Tranquility

Our stay at Chester Frost was amazing. We stayed on site 172. We could not be happier with our choice. The campsite was very spacious, quiet and one of the best views! The sites that are waterfront are spread out really well. This is the most quiet campground we have ever stayed at, at one point we…

Going to be amazing

It’s on its way to being amazing. Gave it 4 stars because we had to move a couple of times. The electricity didn’t work where we wound up camping but didn’t want to move anymore. We let them know what happened, very nice staff. Zip lining, small catch & release pond, biking, hiking, & cliff…

Fun place but some sites are a bit tight!

Cool place to stay and visit. Was there during the 1st part of the COVID happenings! The staff was nice and friendly and started following the state guidelines... Was nice to see. Thanks! Spaces were a bit close but lots of shade in the upper parts of the CG. Lower section is more open due to a…
