Loved it. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved this KOA. Staff was friendly and helpful. Departure day of our trip we had tire trouble (bolt in brand new tire) on our truck. Employee at camp front desk allowed us to stay some extra time at no charge so we could get the repair done and get packed up. Kudos!!!! Location is…

Great Place off the Interstate

I really like this place. It's right off the interstate. Close to a lot of food. Close to a lot of things to do.

One of the things I like is that you have everything here. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The only thing is it's a little cramped. But as long as you don't mind being…

Run down trailer park

Went to check it out for a possible stay, I wouldn't park a tricycle here. This place looks like a third world trailer park. For real terrible.

Great Campground

We have a pop up camper and because of this we were worried about not having a lot of shade. The great thing about this park is that it has shade all around because it pretty much is on the side of the woods. There were some tighter sites to back into but, nothing terrible. The beach was only a 10…

Best campground

Gulf State is our very favorite campground ever. All of the sites are spacious with either pull through or back in. Rates are more than fair. Only bad thing is you have to book well in advance

Great Hosts and Great Facility

First night in our new Class C. The owner met us at the gate, escorted us to our space and showed us how to hook everything up. Campgrounds and all facilities were very clean!

Nice quirky/artsy park

We landed here on very short notice fleeing Hurricane Ida. Lucked out and got a pull thru site but all sites are easy back in. Quirky little art projects are visible throughout the park. Our site, in place of a lawn, was a sandy beach setting including chairs and hammock under palm trees! The…

Hwy 98 RV Park a Very Peaceful Little Park

Hwy 98 is a small park just 36 spaces. It is very close to the beaches in Alabama and northwest Florida. Lots to do in the area and a quite place to come home to each day, makes it the best of both worlds!

Pretty, social

Again, last-minute choice for an overnight that was a pleasant surprise. The campground itself isn’t that big, and the main loop is wide open with pads not far apart. If you want to hang out with other campers, this would be the place. We picked a site on the far, little loop which was much more…

Quiet and Clean

The place was really quiet, honestly wish we would have seen more campers out of their campers but if you don't want to be bugged this is the place. It was clean, nice pool, nice lots, they have bathroom facilities and laundry facilities although we didn't use either the place was well kept. Tom…

Great quaint park

Nice people, concrete pads, full hookups. The river provides entertainment and a place to cool off on hot days. Several pull thru spots, most are back in.

Revisiting this park

Excellent campground. Lots to do here. About a mile from the Gulf. Parking at beach included in campground fees. Amenities are plentiful. WiFi is acceptable (11 Mbps). AT&T Phone signal is good. OTA tv channels are strong and plentiful. Very popular campground, make reservations in advance.
