Tunnel Advisory:

Please know that traveling south from Tannersville on Cherry Lane Road leads to a small railroad tunnel with a 10’ 8” clearance just before the property. It is advised to take Route 715 S to Route 191 S from Tannersville and ultimately turn right on Cherry Lane Road from the southern end. The tunnel will not be a problem this way.



Fly Fishermen and Nature Lover’s Spot

Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campground located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!)



At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer.



About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.)



The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park.



Moon Valley Campground

Bring out your inner-Lenni Lenape and explore Northwestern New Jersey's Skylands region and the Upper Delaware Valley.  This is one of the most beautiful parts of New Jersey with its unique rock formations, pristine forests and varied fauna and flora.  Montague, NJ is the only town in NJ that borders NY and PA.  There are no traffic lights and it is not far from the bustle of the surrounding metropolitan area.  However, when you wake up here you will feel what our first Americans felt and exclaim "God is great."  You can skip church and marvel at what the Creator entrusted the Lenni Lenape or "the common or original people" with.

Secluded woodland site off a dead-end street about 1/2 mile from the Delaware river and the nearby attractions include horseback riding, farms, canoeing, biking etc.  Enjoy tall pine trees, hemlock, a small seasonal creek.  The site is situated on a 5-acre lot adjacent to the property owner's other 60 acres and about 40 more state-owned acres that are adjacent to the lot.  Very desolate once you're here but only about 5 minutes away from Port Jervis, NY and 10 minutes away from Milford, PA.  Enjoy the Highlands nature at its best including deer, bear, fox, racoon,  turkey, fishers, skunks, porcupines, turtles, snakes and frogs.  Because we are locating near the Delaware River the mornings are full of dew and the temperature seems to be about 10 degrees lower than the rest of NJ due to the vibrant foliage and higher elevation.  It beats the Jersey Shore in terms of recharging with nature's healing powers.

Nestled among the trees of Pond Eddy, River Rock campsite is 7 acres with river access to the Delaware River, (700ft. riverfront) all to yourself. (if you want to add 2 more full size tents for a group camp event feel free to inquire, photos of open sites in the photo description) There is a regulation horseshoe court set atop the field and additional cleared field to toss a frisbee, football, baseball, kick a soccer ball, play badminton etc.  We're a short drive from Milford PA, Shohola Falls/Raymondskill Falls....as well 25 minutes to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center. Kayak, canoe or raft can be launched or received from property. (Vessels not included at this time)

Camp next to the majestic Delaware River in the comfort of a fully electrified tent. The ultimate romantic getaway is available year round. Tent ready for winter and summer seasons including carpeted and insulated floor, wood stove, electric heater, keurig coffee machine, and 8" thick foam mattresses. Across the road is our 5 bedroom farmhouse lodge, Slumberland at the River's Edge, which can be booked separately by request if you have extra guests or family that prefer indoor living. Explore local communities, shops, and restaurants, hike local trails, or relax and read on a superb deck by your campfire or wood stove. Fall, winter, and early spring are magical isolated times in the valley. Watch the river flow by and embrace a true 'back to nature' experience. It is roughing it -- with all the amenities. In the summer, the valley comes to life. Our section of river becomes a magical jungle of vines and the steady stream of rafters provides endless entartainment. Within 10-15 minutes are the towns of Barryville, Yulan, and Eldred where you will find great spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Or try your hand at splitting wood and winter cooking on an open campfire.

Please note: canvas tent features a queen-size bunk bed for up to 4 people. Additional tents are available upon request for extra guests. Have it all setup when you arrive! This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Base booking is for 4 campers regardless of age and is limited to overnight paying guests only. If bringing additional people (including children), please calculate and include at time of booking or contact Campkeeper prior to arrival with final numbers. We understand that plans can change and Campkeeper is readily available to adjust your booking. NOTE: Campers coming to site with more people than registered will be charged double the normal rate for extra guests (80./night vs 40./night). No day guests are permitted without prior approval and will be treated as additional guests. Get your numbers right BEFORE arriving and stay in touch! 

Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Water shoes in the warmer months. Consult your camp keeper on all details of site setup. We are here to help and make your trip perfect. Let your camp keeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home. 

Note for dog owners: Although well behaved dogs are welcome at all our sites, fireworks from neighboring campsites are common especially on weekends. NOVEMBER 1 - APRIL 30 WINTER GLAMPING INFORMATION
**Winter glamping includes use of a propane tank and portable heater. Please bring a grill lights and extra layers. 
**Sites will have 1 queen bed with pillows and linens, a firepit, small charcoal grill (BYO charcoal), picnic table, 2 Adirondack chairs, views of the lake and complimentary fishing. 
**There will not be running water from November 1st to April 30th. We provide each site with a private, portable loo. The loos will have a blue waste bag in them which you are responsible for disposing of. Instructions can be found on the lid of the loo. 
**Any waste left behind will result in a $50 fine each. There are onsite dumpsters for your use. 
**There is a local guide in your welcome book with restaurant recommendations and things to do. 
**The pop up tent, boat rentals and yard games will not be available during the winter glamping season.
