Perfect staging for AT

My husband and I got a late start coming down from Brooklyn to the DWG, and realized we’d need a place to stay. We found this site of HipCamp and it was a God send! Perfect land for an overnight before hitting the trail. There’s open field and wooded options, and the hosts Mel and Jeff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Mel brought firewood for the campfire and helped us load up on water. He gave us local tips and checked in on us anytime we had a need. Such a friendly host and such a perfect site for leaping into the DWG the next morning.
