Lots of Family Fun

We love to camp here, we have lots of friends here, old and new. There is swimming year round with 2 indoor pools, hot tubs and sauna. Summer time swimming at 1 outdoor pool and 2 swimming beaches at the lake. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and fishing boats. Plenty to do all year round…

Doesn't feel like MO

I've been going to klondike since I was in the scouts. Once I started to drive I tried to go out atleast once a year.

Family fun

Lost valley happens to be one of our favorite camp grounds. They are extremely family friendly, they have an indoor pool, hot tubs, and sona, an outdoor pool and hot tubs, inflatable jump pillows, concerts almost every weekend, full hookups, plenty of tent camping sites as well, two swim beaches…

quaint and quiet, cave-tacular

Stayed here last night and was thrilled to see the platforms were clean, I cracked concrete, with plenty of grass space to boot. The lots, at least 1-9 are well spaced. The proximity to the cave tour is wondrous and worthwhile

Simple campground off I-70

Nice simple campsite with a relatively clean pit toilet. Easy to find flat ground to pitch a tent. Just far enough from 70 to be quiet and there was only one other campsite taken.

Clean, quiet, and private

We stayed in space 46 for one night. Great view. Then entire campground was empty. I recommend for view 45 and 46. Although these spots are far from the river, they have the most privacy and best view.

Quiet, safe stay

Stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed my stay. There are 7 camp spots, most having fire rings (no tables). During the 4 nights, only a single night were there 3 campers. All other nights consisted of myself and another chapter. I imagine this place never gets full but you could be very close to…

Beautiful Trails

The campsites are good size and great for tents and hammocks. AT&T and Sprint have only enough service to make calls at the sites. Prescribed burn closed all the trails at the trailhead so we took a drive up to Brazil Creek trailhead. The trails there were one of a kind and the best looking…

Free & Spacious

This campground is completely free and most of all well spaced out. There is plenty of room to keep to yourself and remain undisturbed between the 8 available spots. Far from the road so no noise or blaring light. Nearby are a variety of trails of varying lengths. The gravity toilet is well…

Quiet site around a former quarry

A few drive up sites and lots of hike in spots around a quarry turned lake. Beautiful and clean setting. We stayed in site 24. There were picnic tables and a fire pit at our site. Great for tent camping, not sure that trailers or anything larger than a car is allowed

Small but nice

When I first pulled in I kept going back further only to realize the spots were located right by the road side. I wish there would have been signs pointing them out more. It looks like I wasn’t the only one to continue on as there were tire tracks already and then turn arounds. It’s quiet and…

Camping

Likes: Onondaga state park campground is one of my favorite camping spots in central Mo. The campground is very nice and clean and pads are level and all concrete with 50amp service and water hook ups. Very peaceful and friendly people. Dislikes: I’ve camped in a dozen sites at least there and…

Good fall spot

Well kept up place, good spacing between sites. I didn’t get a chance to go on any trails but there were a couple that looked good, including the Ozark Trail.

Nice area, second camping area at the end of the road. No amenities at the end of the road, but there is a toilet at the first camping area. Beautiful scenery, alot of hunters.
