  FHU- Not big rig friendly

  Small park, 20 sites of various sizes, 18 full hook ups(even sewer). Tent& group camping available. Cabins also available. A/C Bathhouse centralized with a vending machine for canned soda, men's side, women's side, and coin laundry(2 washer/2 dryer)$2.50 per use for light wash load- price increases with load size and function.$2.50 per dryer in commercial dryer. Sides each consisted of 3 flush toilets and 2 shower stalls. Lots of playground equipment for kids, along with a small baseball diamond, volleyball nets, BBQ grills, picnic tables and pavilions. Lots of trails around, but seems that they link to the disc golf course. Trolling motor or kayak lake only, NO SWIMMING. You can rent kayaks from the office. Fishing available with permit available at office& limits. Not far from Tupelo, MS, 15 minute drive to explore and shop. Our site#6 was just big enough for our camper(35 ft). We parked our truck(25ft) sideways-ish in front of the camper. We tried to stay out of the road for passing vehicles. There were parking spaces just up from our site, but our truck would have stuck out into traffic. Glad that we didn't because a storm came through and the wind caused a tree to come down over the road in front of our camper where those parking spots were. When I made the reservation via the phone number, I spoke with a representative who was in Maryland, so she had no idea, but said that on her screen the pad size should be long enough and it was not. There is no one at the gatehouse, you have to check in at the office across from the campground or envelopes are provided with a fee list for the honor system. It was quiet at night. There was only 1 other RV hooked up there the whole 7 days that we were. There were people that came through the week for 1 night only, but most people coming into the campground loop were stopping to use the shower facilities, the laundry facilities, or just driving through. We camped at Tombigbee State Park in a Travel Trailer.

  Was threatened by another tenant

  I moved in on 08/05/26. It's a nice park, it's clean, quiet and the manager is nice. When I rented my cottage the manager advised me that a guy would be coming by to feed a cat he left behind when he moved to another cottage on the property. I told her that's fine but I don't want him coming up on my porch and that I will take care of the cat as I already have one. Then my 2nd night here I hear a dog barking while my cat is going crazy in the window. I looked outside to see a pitbull tied to my steps. When I opened my door to see what was going on the dog lunged at me and was barking trying to get to me. Thank God it was tied up. The owner and I got into a shouting match and I told him to keep his dog away. He came back the next night with the dog. Once again I asked him not to come around with the dog. He told me to get back in my house Bitch! I advised the manager of this incident and she asked if we could just get a long. A couple days later I saw her and told her I will try to talk to the guy. Last night 08/18/26 I was going to my car when he walked by with his dog, I said Hey man I want to talk to you. He said FO, flipped me off and called me names again. As I walking back to my cottage he came walking back by and started cussing and asked me if I wanted to fight and told me not to come out of my place when I see him. I'm 64 years old with heart failure this guy is half my age. Now I don't feel safe or comfortable here. All I want is to live in peace. Roger(Mike) Hrasdzira

  Awesome CG, spacious sites

  This CG will be on our list of future places to stay when traveling through MS. As a matter of fact, I’ll plan to deviate north to camp here again- it is that good! Sites are very spacious, park is very well maintained, and we had a peaceful stay. We pulled in around 7 pm on a Sunday and had many sites to choose from. We looked at sites and chose one, then booked it online when we set up. Cell signal was fine, and our Starlink made an easy connection at site 19- plenty of open skies. The sites are paved and very long- and the picnic table, fire pit, grill, and table were in excellent condition.

  Hollywood Casino RV Park - Tunica

  No longer available for campers

  Pulled in here after driving all day and the park was full of campers that looked to be somewhat long term. I went inside to pay for site 63 (which was empty and the camper next door said was used all the time for overnight camping) and they said we are full and there's no water at site 63. The manager said this park used to be used for casino customers, but now they are renting long term to construction workers. It would have cost $40 to stay if they had space. Too bad- we would have eaten in a casino restaurant and played a bit. We left and drove to Enid Lake and stayed at a COE CG that was one of the nicest ever, at $10 less for the night. Lessons learned-definitely need to call ahead even though people said just pull in no reservations needed-also- awesome stay for less just down the road. Spaces at Hollywood were close together, paved, there is laundry on site. Staff in the casino (hotel desk) were friendly and helpful.

  Campsites located along Geiger Lake. Roads and camp pads are paved. Well spaced camp sites. Premium back in sites # 16 - 19 are directly on the lake and very desirable.

  We are here during the week. Its affordable, very clean, nice bathhouse, RV sites have electric (50/30/110) water and sewer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located for nearby fishing.

  Terrible experience with host

  I would be very wary of staying here long term. The landlord has been a thorn in my side from pretty early on. I am in the military and stayed here for 7 months, and during this time I tried to accommodate Mary’s ever revolving requests to the best of my ability. The reason I left was because I dealt with harassment and relentless pestering from the landlord, Mary. There are some positives like location, size of property, access to internet, and the RV neighbors. There are also plenty of negatives. Mary snoops unannounced, engages in unreasonable surveillance, and aggressively uses her phone to monitor our daily life. At the end of the day, Mary will always look for a problem. By the way she acts and some of the reasoning she uses, it seems that Mary would prefer to live alone. So, unless you’re a hermit crab that rarely comes and goes, doesn’t use the outside space, and have all potential projects completed find somewhere else to live. Unfortunately it took me this long to realize there are far better options at much cheaper prices in this area.

  Below are a few of the many frustrating interactions I had on property.

  • When I arrived, I was given permission to work on projects like truck maintenance or RV mods. Mary’s website listed quiet hours at 9:00pm but I was always finished by dark. later was told to stop work by dark then again it was changed to 5pm(on a weekend). Regardless of how much that frustrated me, I complied. Still, she would uninvitedly enter our space to grill me about what work I was doing and when it would be done as if I was again inconveniencing her. I talked with all neighbors and the only person that was bothered was Mary.

  • I started a small welding project using a 125amp gas-less welder(power of a microwave) and welding blankets (all while keeping a safe distance from other RVs). Mary and I went back and forth on this one for a while. Power consumption was her main concern, to which I agreed to pay the bill difference. Then it was the fire hazard, which is ironic because there are fire pits and open flame fires are permitted. I was also told I should have ASKED mary’s permission before purchasing the welder. Nonetheless, when Mary said no welding/angle grinding I complied.

  • There is a 5mph sign posted, which we respected, yet my wife and I received an abundance of messages about slowing down because we could potentially ruin the dirt driveway. The harsh rainstorms and flooding have more effect on the road than us but…again we comply. What really pissed me off was the relentlessly videotaping every time we entered or exited the property, as if she could prove our speed from a phone camera. This is when she started violating tenant/landlord acts like the Mississippi common law know as the implied covenant of quiet enjoyment.

  • When Mary mows the grass she keeps the deflector open which sent projectiles at my camper.

  • There is no laundry facility or designated drying rack so we often got complaints about our towels being hung up to dry. We have dogs that need washed/dried and don’t want wet dog stench towels drip drying inside a small RV.

  • Mary is obsessed with keeping every space and trash can spotless, and routinely checks your trash for bugs. Flies and maggots are inevitable in a hot/humid climate but this lack of understanding didn’t stop Mary from blowing up both my and my wife’s phones about cleaning, even though I cleaned the can with Clorox every week. She requests we store meat waste in our freezer until trash day…our RV has a 3 cubic foot freezer . Laughable request. Mary also lingers and takes pictures of your area if it’s not kept to her standards. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t appreciate unannounced visits from people taking pictures of my belongings or rummaging through my trash.

  • Mary called the sheriffs deputy to report threatening behavior from myself. I was adjusting my RV, in the rain unfortunately, when Mary demanded my wife get out of the storm. To which I replied our safety is my responsibility. She persists with mundane points and begins to record us yet again. I text back stop harassing me, which made her feel calling the cops was an appropriate response. The deputy sided with me, agrees she’s being overbearing and out of line, gives us friendly advice to leave(we were in the process of packing up), then states she didn’t even call the right department because we were out of his jurisdiction. He and I exchange friendly small talk then he leaves. No reprimand because it’s recognized that the landlord was in fact the issue.
